I'm using it to post this message. First impressions are positive. Soon I will be moving all my images that are currently stored on an external HD to the 8TB SSM on the mother board of the computer.

In other news:
I learned last week that the blood cancer I have been fighting for 16 years has been CURED! The doctor told me that I no longer have cancer and to stop taking the new experimental pills I have taking for the past two years. The pills worked. I don't have cancer. They told me 16 years ago that my cancer was incurable. That changed!

I'm happy and spending like drunken sailor. 6K$ for the computer, what the hay!

The tricky part is going to be moving all my images stored on an external HD over onto the internal 8TB of SSD and continue to use it in LR. I think Apple support will help me with that.

Dave, many congratulations for beating your cancer. That's an awesome, amazing accomplishment. May I ask the name of the medication, please.

Regis, because of your great photos I will know what a bald eagle will look like should I see one. Ha, ha.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you. How is the ease of use?

I can only testify about the ip8720 - and, everything is great except for the ink cost. One thing I caught on to early on - don’t put a new cartridge in when it first says it’s empty. Keep printing until they start to look like crap. There’s usually plenty of ink still in there.
I never got to use the G620; there are no drivers for the latest Mac software.

Thanks you Fred.

Hey, Regis, it's really nice to see more of the work that has made you famous. Yes, I'm referring to your eagle shots. Really great shot as usual. I hope things are well with you.

I’ve had the 8720 for several years; printed ‘000s of 8.5 x 11. IMO, the quality is outstanding. My only complaint is the usual one - ungodly cost of ink. The G620 seemed to be the perfect replacement (for me, at least), but it doesn’t play with Mac. All of the great reviews must be from PC users.
Hope this helps.
Almost forgot - I don’t think the 8720 is available.

Fred, thank you for your response. The ink cost is something I was wondering about. Could I ask you about ease of use, please.

I have had a PIXMA G620 for several months. So far it has worked very well. Print quality of standard documents and photos are both excellent. The only drawbacks are that it is a bit "noisy" and slower than some of my previous Canon printers. Too early to gauge ink usage, but it appears to be good.

Thank you very much for your input.

Good luck with your limited comments request.

I'm sure that you don't go around commenting when other members of the forum need to ask member experiences on camera comparisons of say a Nikon Z50 and a Nikon Z 6, or some of the many other questions that are asked here. So why are you making a comment here and wasting my time?

Has anyone have any experience with either of these two printers? I am considering purchasing either one of these and I'm wondering how they are? Please note I am considering just these two printers due to budget and ease of use. I realize that there are differences due to the mega tank feature of the G 620 and the paper size.
I would appreciate it if the comments stay within these two printers.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
