I explained that these are "Stallion poses". The owners use these photos as advertisements to show the beauty of the world champions so that mare owners might decide which world champion they want to take their mare to to raise foals.
If you are in the business of raising them, you want the best foals you can get to bring the highest bid when you sell them.
I can understand the stallion pose, it reminds me when a pretty woman walks past a group of middle aged men they all suck their guts in to look leaner. kinda looks unatural too, :)
Thanks all, it was defiantely a challenge. The attention to detail of these planes were awesome. One guy had a jet plane and there was no way I was getting hold of that one. He`d scream past the runway and I just couldn`t lock on in time.

Finally have got around to going through the photos that I took at the Petit Lemans Race in Atlanta back on the 14th of this month.
Going to be in 2 parts, but these and the next set were some of my favorites.
Very nice. My favorites are the Le mans prototype. I`ve been watching the replay of that race on Peacock channel.
Thanks everyone. I was at the race track and was watching a guy fly a drone. He was wearing drone goggles and keeping up with the cars on the track. Just a foot away at times, amazing talent. This was at a drift event 2 summers ago.

I shot some RC planes a few months ago, was the first time. Takes a little getting used to. Good shot Keeth. What lens did you use?
Don
Thanks Don, I have a Sigma 70-200 2.8 sports lens on my Nikon D750. Also a Sigma teleconverter. I had a pretty good time, and a few gave me a slow fly by.
I found a local rc air plane club and took a few pictures. Fast little buggers to get a hold of. I threw away more photos than caught. It was a challenge and I had a great time.
I have a 70-200 with a 1.2 tele extender but most were too far away to get a decent shot. This is my favorite of the day. The club is Pegasus rc. Very friendly group of people.
I really enjoy going there, I live about 45 min. away. One place you might like to eat is at the Dobbin House. It was used in the under ground rail road. Upstairs they have a canopy over some of the tables. Very nice, call ahead and get reservations. The Farnsworth is a cool place to check out and then bar food at Sweenys. They have a beer garden, but it might be too cold by then. When my kids were young we went on a couple ghost tours. You may not see a ghost but the tour guide has a lot of history to share.
There is also the Rupp house, take a tour through it. Pretty awesome, they have some hands on stuff you can touch. If you want to take a break for ice cream, stand in line for Mr. G`s. Best soft serve in my opionion. This was years ago, but there was a stable offering horse back rides through the battlefield. We had headsets and a guide was decribing the battle as we rode. Great memories for me and the kids. If you have time, Burnside Bridge in Antietam is cool to walk across. Not much to see except for the bridge, but the battle on both sides of it must have been bruttle. There is Antietam Winery not far from them. Good tasting too. I did the drive tour through Gettysburg with the audio. Then all the cool tourist shops to spend your money in.
Plan your visit and have fun
Thank you, I had a fun time going
Two awesome looking cars.

Great image. The driver is Courtney Crone https://courtneycroneracing.com/. She finished third out of six cars in her class, https://www.imsa.com/events/2023-fcp-euro-northeast-grand-prix/.
She did an excellent job handling the p3. I saw her giving an interview after the race. Very fun and exciting to be there.
This one is my favorite. It was driven by a young girl who was keeping pace in the pack. Very impressive.
Thanks all. It was a great time for car racing. The fence line was crowded with photographers. Inside the fence line were all the track photographers. It was pretty cool.
I took a four day vacation at Lime Rock Race Park last weekend. Somewhere out in the sticks of connecticut. I had a blast, first time for me. Imsa Northeast Grand Prix. Lots of fast cars. A challenge for me to photograph.
Thanks all. The drive train was all original on this pick up. I really do not see any rat rod at all in this. Most rat rods i`ve seen are lowered almost to the ground, and maybe grungy looking. I saw an old oil pan turned upside down used as a center console and supported his shifter.
It`s like any other fad, I remember when vans were being customized to the hilt. It`s all in what you like.

Great looking truck. You know it didn’t look that good even when it was brand new.
I believe you are right, this truck looks like it never saw a day of work. As a matter of fact, most of the cars there were very pristine!
