Curious on the age of your cell phones and their cameras in your household.

Cell phone is pixel 7 pro 18 months
Canon t1 and Canon M50 years
DJI mini pro 3 drone 3 months

IMHO phones designed to get slower with age. Both canons take great pictures using the same glass.

Drone is an experiment.

Salvagediver, I totally understand where you are coming from! But the question is where we draw the lines to divide things up. Some people believe in post processing others don't. So I am thinking there may need to be more categories, i.e. one where AI has been used. Hence why I suggested a metadata marker. I will say that if AI progresses at the rate it is improving at today, it will be less than 2 to 3 years and we will not know if it was even taken by a person. IMHO (in my humble opinion)!

Anyone playing with this Adobe Firefly AI yet? If so please share before and after pictures! Think we might need something put out in all pictures, some meta data indicating photo was updated with AI! Thoughts?

If their technology is far far beyond ours and they live by different laws of physics, it may be safe to say there being here is like going to the zoo to see the animals. If they wanted to they could wipe us out, they don't, they find us amusing!

I really appreciate everyone's input, thank you all! Maybe the insurance is not needed. Maybe there is not much money in it. But like someone said being new I need the information! Also appreciate the links to various sites! Hoping for some better weather in Michigan to start flying! Thank you again everyone!

Took the plunge, purchased a DJI mini 3 pro. So far so good. Registered, took that basic testing, etc . Have done half dozen flights and have not crashed it yet! Not that I am ready for it but what does it take dollarwise and time wise to get the 107 license? Once that is done is there anything else I need to do? Is there insurance coverage I should have? Seems like there is a ton of different ways to make some extra cash while performing this new hobby!

I have a canon M50, really like the feel in my hand. I always recommend you got hold the body in you hand. I have the converter mount that lets me use just about any RF lens on my M50 and when I bought it they threw it in for like $39.95. so now I don't work about it. I can buy ef-m lens, also now it works for non canon ef mount lens like my tamron.

Heading to Sedona Az soon, I have been to Bell Rock, coffee pot, cathedral Rock, the chapel of the holy cross.. these are all beath taking. Any other spots you folks would recommend? Some other locations and or trails that would be considered easy to mild, 3 to 3.5 miles or less?

Retired CPO, normally what you said is true... But it was my wife calling to be picked up... No matter what, I subscribe to the happy wife, happy life quote, works out pretty well for me, we have been married 36 yrs and going strong... However, if you could comment more on some of the other details, I would greatly appreciate it... working on the composition.... Thanks!

Willaim, 4th photo was trying to show how the aged pod looks, the soft side was showing some that had not dropped yet... Maybe it would be better to take out the soft side and see.. can get closer on the dragon fly, thought the red rock dust was worth showing maybe too much so... will think on that one a little more...

Thank you Dennis! the details on the composition help! I agree with the sharpness, just a slight breeze I think affected that one. Had several others, but this one was the best sharpness... Don't know how to make the breeze stop... LOL.

Thank you Tom, the next trip will include the creek shot, but from the creek looking up the river to where there is a bend and some red rocks... just did not have the water shoes and suit with me for that one...

Stan, I think I follow what you and Mike said on the 50-50 think, at times to me, it is the clouds against the rocks that seem so amazing to me, but I see you point, maybe too much sky takes away from the rocks... Thank you!

appreciate the comment on the potential !
