For indoor volleyball you probably want the 70-200 f2.8 IS L lens. The F4 70-200 might work depending on the lighting conditions, however, for indoor sports the lighting conditions are usually poor. Have fun, its a great camera.

I think Sharpen AI is a great product. I use my own sharpening technique about 90% of the time but when a photo is just slightly out of focus Sharpen AI can save the day. It has 3 modes - sharpen, stabilize and focus. I end up using stabilize the most. Highly recommend the product. Easy to use, slow on an older computer but well worth it. Download the trial and try it.

Find out what printer your local Costco has and then you can download the color printer profiles from drycreekphoto.com.

They do look a bit soft but I suggest to do more testing.

Calibrate the lens to your camera. Try not shooting through a window - glass can really affect the sharpness. Shoot at the right shutter speed (eg if shooting at 600mm on 1.6 crop camera you should be shooting at 1/960 of a second). High ISO can also affect sharpness. RAW files always need post processing. Good luck - I hope your lens is OK.

I use both. Find them excellent. Topaz AI Sharpen is slow but worth it as it can make a slightly OOF photo pop. I find I use Stabilize the most in AI Sharpen.

Also recommend the Sony RX10 iv. Takes great photos, is a bridge camera with a 24-600 zoom, Zeiss lens and you only don't have to worry about lugging around pounds of gear and which lens to use. Also it shoots RAW and JPG and has great video. Unless you are shooting for National Geographic this camera will produce stunning photos. Only downside is low light/high ISO. It does ISO 1600 OK, max I use is ISO 3200 but only if necessary.

Watch Tony Northrups youtube video on back button focus. It is excellent.

I just bought the RX10 4 2 weeks ago. Still have my Canon 5D4 and myriad of lenses. I - like you - wanted a lighter weight camera and not to have to carry multiple lenses. I have 2 weeks to return the camera but am blown away by the pictures this camera takes and will not return it. It is not a pocket camera - for that I would recommend the RX100 vi - but if you want the zoom range of 24-600 this camera is just the right camera. Not the lightest or smallest and the price is higher than other bridge cameras but in all reviews it is rated as the best. I also had a Lumix FZ200 before this camera and gave it away. It took good photos but this camera takes great photos. You won't be sorry with this camera. A few things to consider - you can't zoom while taking photos in burst mode. What I mean is if someone is running towards you and you you want to change the zoom range you have to take your finger of the shutter button - rezoom - and then start taking photos in burst mode again. I had a problem with this as I take a lot of action/sports photos but can live with it. Other than that buy a manual from Friedman or Alexander White. Cheapest place I could find the Alexander Whites manual is here
"whiteknightpress.com/white-knight-press-information-about-current-books/photographers-guide-to-the-sony-dsc-rx10-iv/"
as the Sony manual is the worst I have seen. Look at the Ken Rockwell review. I think you would be very pleased with this camera.
