This affects others(refusing v*****e). It seems a reasonable thing to take v*****e so as not to hurt teammates chances of winning. But, what does a well-paid QB worry about lower-paid guys on the team who struggle to make it and may get cut if team fails to win/make playoffs. It is all somewhat disappointing.
For all naysayers on masks:
They have proven effective whenever and wherever tested. I have been asked to read many resources on masks and have done so. It seems most scientifically tested results have been favorable. It seems that many of the naysayers are the ones who refuse to wear them. The self-fulfilling prophecy comes about when we distort success rates by being unable to truly account for the disease t***smission caused by those not wearing masks. A few non-mask supporters have made decent arguments. However, after more reading, it appears the larger number of researchers and Doctors find that masks provide a real benefit. That they may not be 💯 % effective does not mean they are not a very real and helpful weapon in fighting the disease.
What cracks me up is the Republicans who would not consider the proven effective scientifically developed v*****e because it was not well-enough researched (so they said), but jumped on Hydroxichloraquine, Ivermectin, Bleach, and anything else that they were told by a friend on the bowling team who had heard it from his Aunt’s Cousin, who heard it from the bagger at the Grocery store, who heard it from her mother who had heard about it from Fox News or worse. No reason to worry, if it’s on tv or the Internet, or from Ted and Carol, it must be true.
Admit it, it’s all about yer politics and yer politics says not to believe in Science.
I look at Pro athletes who have injuries. They follow religiously the Doctors’ Orders to get well, but when the Doctor advises to take the v*****e, all of a sudden, “it’s a personal choice.” (Pssst, it’s a team sport, especially if you are a leader and QB like Carson Wentz of the Indianapolis Colts. Often injured and unavailable or limited for games, he is so selfish he cares not for any teammates. The NFL can sit you for 5 or 10 days for contact with someone who has the disease, even if you don’t yet show symptoms of having the disease. If you have been v******ted, these, in essence, quarantines cannot be imposed - as long as you don’t actually have the disease. Even for millions of dollars and the negative consequences to your team and teammates, these athletes hold onto their Cult beliefs. Unbelievable!

Until after the e******n that Biden won few allegations of bad character had ever been brought forth and alleged. Now, of course, there is the irony of Trump supporters casting aspersions regarding Biden’s character. Politics as usual, I guess. Maybe someday proof will be available regarding both these men. Do you, any of you, think it will matter?

DennyT: I am glad you mention character as important in determining how your b****t should be cast. I have always thought this should be the primary consideration in determining my v**e. Party politics or ideology mean little to me if the person impresses me as a weasel.

Fraudit recount confirms Biden won in Arizona and Maricopa County. 360 MORE v**es cast for Biden/fewer for Trump. Considering this group of recounters went there with a predetermined mission to throw the results into doubt and establish that there was Democratic fraud. Once again, such efforts prove totally incorrect and EXPENSIVE. Congratulations to all you extremists who blew millions on this ridiculous recount/fraudit. Yet we will likely have to go through this debacle in another 6 States. Maybe there will be more recount demands in Arizona. Let’s keep going! When will there be enough recount results to put these ridiculous fraud conspiracy theories to rest? Never, is my guess.
