Awesome set! Thanks for posting!
Thanks and you're welcome!
Some shots from the first full scale airhsow I have been to in over a year. I was a little rusty and the light was horrible, but I'm happy with the results. All shots taken with a Nikon D500 and Nikon 200-500mm.

That is one in a million or more fantastic shot. What made you think that would work. It is not as if you could tell them to do it again. WOW!
Thanks. To be honest, while I was shooting this I thought I wouldn't have come away with much. But it worked out.

P.S. I did, actually, first look at the Flickr page, and I noticed the "207" there, and thought it looked like something that had been automatically added (as opposed to typed in by hand).
Also, now that I've looked at the picture some more, I have notice the fainter trail of the rocket, higher up and more off to the left, as well some streaks of light even father toward that corner. Are those stars?
No problem. Yes, those are stars.
bjkeefe wrote:
Beautiful picture! Just curious: would you confirm the exposure of 207 seconds, please? Hard to say about the rocket's path, but I'd think that if the exposure was almost three and a half minutes, the trees would be blurrier. Thanks!
It is 207 seconds. Click on the photo and look at the info below it. There wasn't really much wind to speak of.

Question, you give us the time, what ISO and Aperture. That is all just one shot? You nailed the exposure.
ISO 100 at f8. One shot. No filters.

Nice shot. I watched that last night. It was like back in the 1960s when people tuned in to watch a launch, but I bet the audience last night was tiny in comparison.
Thanks. You're probably right.

Truly spectacular, one of a kind perspective shot. Nasa and Space X need to see your photo! WOW!
( Is there a download image we can see? )
Thanks! If you click on the photo it takes you to my Flickr page where you can zoom in to the photo.
