The yellow eyes on the "Blackbird" might indicate it is a grackle

This picture was sent by a Vietnam buddy of mine just a couple days ago. It was the 175mm howitzer that we slept by while at a base camp called Bear Cat in Vietnam. Real loud as you can imagine. No wonder my hearing is not what it should be. The amazing thing is that even while asleep, you can tell the difference between the sounds of big guns outgoing and incoming mortars and rockets, even though they are not nearly as loud, you wake up instantly at the sound of incoming. The gun had a range of about 25 miles. The incoming rounds were fired from less than a mile away. Our small detachment of eight provided radio relay communications.

Very nice. Sometimes the "Kiss" principal works well for a lot of things. Kiss = keep in simple stupid.

OK, maybe I don't quite understand...you said "some were taken from member of this forum..." Did you ask permission?
No, I didn't but I should have and I apologize. Whenever I post a picture(s) I consider them public domain and not copyrighted. Even though that may be the case for pictures posted by others, I should have contacted the original poster and asked him. I got so excited about the results of the reflection software that I rushed things. In the future, I will ask first.
As Yogi Berra once said "When you come to a fork in the road, take it."
Hey, get a bidet. I bought one several months ago. Good enough for the so called "Socialists Countries" so good enough for me. Had not heard of the govt. getting involved in the TP issue. Was that on Fox News?
Hey, why not push everything down to the city mayor or council members. Republican Governors don't want the responsibility either. Of course if mayors etc are republican they won't want the responsibility either. They can just blame the Democrats for wh**ever the problem.
Also, next war, let the State National Guard take care of it. To hell with a national front to fight wars. I spent two years of my life in Vietnam between 1967 and 1970. I did not know I was fighting for Illinois only. Same true of all of our military wars.
There exist numerous reflection apps or software for your phone or computer. This can be a lot of fun.
On the attached photos, some were taken from member of this forum such as the dragon fly pictures and spider and bird landing. Others I took on my Iphone and used apps on my phone. You can really get some neat effects this way and add a lot of interest.
In the war against the V***s our "War Time President" surrendered to the enemy and switched sides.
I like the watercolor, oil paint and line drawing effects on photos. Some purists may not, but I do.
I have also just been playing around with "Reflect Studio" software than you can run on your phone or desktop. Some very fantastic effects can be had with this software also
Very beautiful and sensual.
I bet no witches or evil spirits live in this round barn. Reminds me of a round church in Charleston, SC. Theory for building a round church was that the devil and evil spirits lived in corners.
Amazing and excelling job of photographing and documenting. As a past private pilot, I am fascinated by the flight of birds and how they can fly, maneuver and land. They figured out aerodynamics a LONG time ago.
