Nice set!
The first one kind of messes with my head because there isn't really anything to give it scale. Are you far away looking at a lake, or much closer looking at an overgrown puddle?
The last one made me thing of one of my trips to WA when I visited Chateau Ste Michelle. I have very much enjoyed all my trips to Washington state, especially the Wonderland trail hike around Mt. Rainier!

What a beautiful place to live, says the guy from Indiana.
Those are all very nice!
The thing I like about your last one (phone pic) is the way the boat motor wake and the clouds are both making a V shape. That's pretty cool.
I bet it looks great there in the summer too. Thanks for posting your adventure!

The ducklings are pretty cute, mom is more of an acquired taste. Very nice shot though!

Thanks for the look and the comment. I definitely liked catching them in flight.

Where in West Lafayette? I was at Purdue from 1950 to 1954. Are the photos taken near the Wabash River?

Hi zonedoc and hail Purdue! When were you here last? A lot has changed since 1954. Celery Bog nature preserve is Northwest of the Purdue campus right off of Lindberg road. You should be able to find it on Google maps. That said it is not really near the Wabash River.
Thanks for looking at the photos.

Nice set Tracy! Brings back memories of my trips to WA state. Amusingly I am also in IN and have a best friend in the Seattle area. I have been to the Olympic National Park and hiked the Wonderland Trail around Mt. Rainier. It has been years since I have been out there, but I want to go again. I have scanned all my photos from WA, since they were transparencies, and enjoy looking at them every once and a while. Your photos make me want to go out there again!
