These are nicely done. The people are engaged and well aware of being photographed.

Thank you very much. I have rarely had issues with engaging people to be photographed. I don't hide what I'm doing. And, offer a copy if they provide an email or phone number.

Fine work sxrich. I also like to shoot street shots. If you ever get the chance go to New Orleans. It is a street photographer's mecca!

Don

Thanks Don! Would love to see New Orleans as I've never been there. I'm going to post some more street shots taken in Savannah, GA pretty soon. Another very cool city.

Very nice set. You nailed it and street is not easy to do. Being able to approach and gain the trust of those folks is the hardest part and even better is that you presented them in exactly the way they needed to be. Your post is impeccable. Thanks for sharing.

Very kind words and greatly appreciated!

What a wonderful set, I really like the first one, was he on roller skates?

No, he wasn't. Here's another pic. Thanks for the kind words.

Really well done! I don't usually care for street photography, and have never done any myself! And never will! But I like your post! Red hair (even fake) and green eyes! I like it!

She was sitting on a bench......I liked her look. Thanks

Nice job. I've tried street a few times. You don't realize how tough it can be at first until you try it. You did well.
Mike

Thanks very much Mike.

Ironically, I shot a cd cover for a Sinatra cover singer. Image taken in very low light, at a bar. Nikon d750, Nikon 24-70 2.8 nonVR, Nikon sb700 flash, Gary Fong Lightsphere modifier. Edit in Lightroom

I totally agree with you. Don't need new technology to become a better photographer. Will never switch to a Mirror less camera. I can get fantastic shots with all my DSLR'S, And no EVF can match a live view through the lens. It's called talent and experience, I have honed my skills over the past 30+ years. And knowing the equipment you use inside and out. New Mirror less cameras just make it easier for less experienced photographers. I don't like the light cheesey feel of mirror less body's. I love the solid feel And Tank like quality and battery life of my D850s.

Bingo~ Right on the money. d850 may be one of the finest dslr's made. I'd take a d4s, d5, d850 etc. Here's a pic taken with an older Nikon d5100 and the kit lens 55-300dx. I don't see many images from mirrorless shooters that are far superior. And, frankly, the mirrorless shooters who can't read and manipulate light, post process etc present images that are not nearly as good.

So many excellent tracks!! That’s a wonderful one. 👍

The big bands are gone, unfortunately. I grew up with them - I was fortunate.
Mark

So did I. Saw my first big band at age 8. Saw Stan Kenton at age 12.
