We also have Blackbirds here, but they have red and yellow flashes on their wings... and terrible tempers during nesting season. Quite unlike the genteel little birds in the UK.

Oh they are defiantly a lot bigger than our robins then.. When I stayed in Roanoke last year some of the locals called the red cardinal a robin.
