It wasn't a water pipe problem, it was a drain problem! LOL Like sewer pipes broke and there was raw sewage all over the field

I went to a college level game last summer that was delayed a couple of hours because the sprinklers that ran that morning were supposed to run for about 12 minutes instead ran for 10 hours.
Golf is a sport where you place a ball one inch across on a ball 7900 miles across and, get this, the object is to hit the *little* ball.

I haven't forgotten you and my "assignment" to capture a flying flag with slow shutter.
I've done it only that one time, so I'll be interested in seeing yours.

Those are damn good Paul. I thought of trying to photograph a blowing flag, but never got to it. You've inspired me to try again. I'm going to save your message and try to emulate your great success.
Thanks again,
Dick
Dick, have you had a chance to take those flag pics yet?

Welcome to FREE SUNDAY,.... I
I'm especially interested in your Louden shots (and any others of racing). You have more?
I take some car pics (many of hubcaps in motion), but I've never been to a race. We have a raceway right near town, so I asked them what photo equipment spectators were permitted to bring in. Their answer was to skip the admission fee, come directly to the pit, bring whatever you want, and take pics all day if you like!
So, I'm jazzed about that!
I should add that I told them in the original message that I am an amateur who would give them the photos if they like them. But, it'll still be cool!

This is more the bird not paying attention to my taking its picture, but I'll take it anyway.

Nice sports shots! I remember a small town nearby where they shot western movies, and we took my mom-in-law and her sister to their favorite place to shop, otherwise known as Mile High Flea Market. And we went up to Pike's Peak. But we took back roads back to El Paso, and I found Las Vegas, New Mexico. What a wonderful historic town. I plan to go back there and take alot more photos. I did not get to explore enough. And welcome to the "Hedgehog!"
I googled western movie locations in the Fort Morgan area. For Northeast Colorado, this site says:
"Based on James Michener’s classic novel of the same name, "Centennial" is actually a TV miniseries from 1978. The story follows the history of a fictional Colorado town called Centennial (not to be confused with the actual town of Centennial) from the late 1700s to the 1970s. The northeast part of the state influenced Michener in writing the book, and then became the area where filming occurred, from the tiny community of Orchard near Fort Morgan to the windswept plains and buttes of Pawnee National Grassland. Explore this popular birding spot with a relaxing day hike at the Chalk Bluffs, where raptors nest."

Here's NE Colorado, with the mentioned places highlighted by ovals plus the town of Orchard.

Thanks. Yes, unfortunately, I'm sure. I asked my wife if I could keep him if he followed me home, but he never did. ;-(
