The day before yesterday I had many crash issues on my 2013 iMac. Yesterday I had no issues. Not sure what changed but it may have been the folder name issue mentioned in an earlier post.

This version seems a little bit slower but I have an older Mac which may be a factor.

I have a 2013 iMac with 32 gig of memory. Have use MacFun (Skylum) products for years now. Downloaded Luminar 3 yesterday. Really like it but this version is rather buggy. Have experienced frequent crashes but no loss of work. As to the above mentioned problem of having the progress bar just sit there and do nothing, I experienced that as well but the added folder pictures did load. The progress bar seems to be the issue not the loading.

I am sure that the bugs will be addressed and I am still going to be using Luminar 3 instead of Lightroom Classic. Lightroom was having crash issues as well and I really do not like the Lightroom data management system. I also think that Luminar does much more and better post processing than Lightroom. Skylum has continuously improved their products with very reasonable prices.

He did say that atheists should not be citizens which was not only religious bigotry but also an unconstitutional position expressed by the President of the United States.

I am a fan of 3D photography. Have taken many pictures with a Realist Stereo camera in the past. I have tried different digital methods but have not been satisfied with the results. How do you take your 3D pictures? I haven’t tried taking anaglyph photos so could use some advice.

I have an old rectangular magnifying glass made for reading. I doubt that it was very expensive.

I just checked and visually there is no discernible distortion when held parallel to the object being viewed. But, if it is tilted the distortion is terrible.

I have been a bit slow processing my pictures. The vast majority were not very good but did get some decent ones. The birds were not in a cooperative mood. I tried to load a few more pictures but they are apparently to large. Recording the sounds was a good idea. I think I will go back next year at one of the peak times.

We went to New Zealand for 3 weeks last April. We could have spent several more weeks and still miss a lot of great sights. You are smart not going during the peak season. During the busy season it is, as a bus driver there said, "Just stupid." There were a lot of tourists in April. Can't imagine what it is like in their summer season. Their infrastructure is getting overwhelmed during the peak seasons.

New Zealand is full of a great variety of terrain, climate and cultures. Where else can you park next to "palm" trees and walk a kilometer to a glacier and a few days later see a geyser and other geothermal sights. We meet a local who had just spent 3 weeks camping at beaches on the Pacific side of the north part of the North Island.

And now for something completely different. First time posting a picture and ended up with two views. Should do better next time.

On a more serious side, I hope, is the resurgence of 3D photography. Right now crossing your eyes and taking two pictures with a time differential is the best we have. (Unless you go back to slides, then there is some quality.) Any attempts at 3D since slides have been rather pitiful in my opinion. Why are we stuck in two dimensions with all this new technology?

I have been thinking about the same problem and tested my idea after your post. If you have or purchase the lightning to usb adaptor the lightning to card reader adaptor you can transfer and store raw files to your phone or iPad. They go to Photos first when I tried it and then can be exported to the Files folder if needed. There are various options for exporting and post Processing after that. I did this on a X but the 8 has the same iOS so should be fine.

What did you use to take pictures? I used to take a lot of 3D pictures with a Realist 3D camera and miss the effect.
