That v**e will be meaningless, and can only be justified if you truly believe neither candidate is better than the other.

Afraid so. There are so many things to dislike about Trump from his constant bickering with the press (although I will admit it is clear that there is a large segment in the press that is mostly out for him but why engage?), his twitter messages, not being p**********l, but where he really lost me is when he threatened to use the military to put down unrest. Where does he think he lives and governs? Dangerous thinking in my view. As for Biden and the Democrats - I cannot v**e for that party that slowly leaks left and thinks that more government is the answer to just about everything.

What choice do I have? Like I said the political party duolopy has to go.

Interesting, I've never heard Trump referred to in exactly those words, but I guess they fit. I believe you sell Biden short. Is he better able to run the country than any other living American? Probably not. Is he better able to run the country than anyone we had a chance to get elected? I believe so. It will be a binary choice, and it will probably be between Biden and Trump. If it is, then v****g for anyone else will be the same as staying home. Even if your descriptions were accurate, "old fart crazy" strikes me as safer than "bat s**t crazy". If you truly believe that Joe is as dangerous as Trump, then write in whoever you wish. If you believe Biden would be even a tiny bit more sane a choice than Trump, you owe it to yourself, and everyone else to v**e for him. A write in is a cowards way of trying to avoid responsibility.

The duolopy of our political parties has to go. They have r****d the game in their favor. I probably will not v**e for this really terrible choice but instead I will v**e for the Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen. I like their policies the best on just about everything.

Let me see if I have this straight. Our choices are some one who is bat $hit crazy and some one who is old fart crazy? Did I get that right?

You Americans forget the difference between the US and the UK (and most other countries by the way). The UK is a single country with a single government and when it says to do something generally people do it. As it happens if the govt doesn't say the right things at the right time then you get chaos which they did.
Now the US is a collection of individual states which runs loosely as a federation under the US federal govt. So there are heaps of things where there is a distinct lack of clarity between who does what and why. eg you try and get a prescription filled in a different state than where it was issued. So you already have chaos built in.
And to add to that you have some issues in the constitution (freedom of speech etc) which complicates various responses.
So you have a central govt that maybe wants to do the right thing BUT you have so many other things working against that with an end result that it is impossible for anybody to act for the greater good. Trump is just a side issue and not even worth discussing in this context. I do have to add that I feel you also have a lot of people who are incapable of understanding what the greater good even is. Hence wandering about without masks or social distancing is a selfish response to the greater good. And who am I to criticize any of you if you are determined to commit suicide or even moving the US into an also ran position.
This v***s is real. It can and does k**l you. If you recover you have a good chance that you will end up with lifetime health issues. And still you wander about as if nothing was going on.
And before anybody gets stuck into me I do feel for the issues you have with police brutality. This is an ongoing problem, it has been there for decades, and nobody has yet decided to actual fix it. But unfortunately now is not the time to attempt it. In 50 years time they will look back (not that this is any issue for all those currently participating in this craziness because you will all be dead) but it sure as hell will be an issue for your grandchildren. They will wonder what on earth were those old bastards even thinking since they helped screw up such a calamitous time.
You Americans forget the difference between the US... (show quote)

Nothing gives the impression of superiority quite like beginning a sentence with "You Americans...." And yes, that freedom of speech and all those other rights can be such a b***h.

Worse than Corona and more likely to occur/reoccur with or without vaccination. Be careful...

A . A . A . D. D.
KNOW THE SYMPTOMS!

Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder.

Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder

This is how it manifests:

I decide to water my garden.
As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over at my car and decide it needs washing.

As I start toward the garage, I notice mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mail box earlier.

I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car.

I lay my car keys on the table,
put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table, and notice that the can is full.

So, I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the garbage first.

But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the garbage anyway, I may as well pay the bills first.

I take my check book off the table, and see that there is only one check left.
My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I go inside the house to my desk where I find the can of Pepsi I'd been drinking.

I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Pepsi aside so that I don't accidentally knock it over.

The Pepsi is getting warm, and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.

As I head toward the kitchen with the Pepsi, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye--they need water.

I put the Pepsi on the counter and discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning.
I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers.

I set the glasses back down o the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table.

I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, I'll be looking for the remote, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers.

I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor.

So, I set the remote back on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill.

Then, I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.

At the end of the day:
the car isn't washed
the bills aren't paid
there is a warm can of
Pepsi sitting on the counter
the flowers don't have enough water,
there is still only 1 check in my check book,
I can't find the remote,
I can't find my glasses,
and I don't remember what I did with the car keys.

Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day, and I'm really tired.

I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail...

Do me a favor.
Forward this message to everyone you know, because I don't remember who I've sent it to.

Don't laugh -- if this isn't you yet, your day is coming!!

I follow and watch a lot of photography videos and I am wondering a what point does taking a photo of an individual tree become a requirement. A lot of photographers seem to do this. It really hasn't appealed to me, is there something I am missing? They seem to go on and on about the composition and how beautiful the scene of the single tree is. I don't get it! What am I missing???

Speaking for me -- the answer is yes but so what? I think a single tree down correctly is great for minimalism.

Everybody has the own propensities, likes, dislikes, etc. Just about every time I see a picture of a bird on UHH I roll my eyes and say to myself -- its a freakin bird! I don't get it.

I just received this e-mail supposedly from Google with the subject line, "We chose your photo for our poster" and link to "view albums."

Right clicking on the Google address shows the actual address to be dvigilnn@amega.com which sure doesn't sound like a Google address.

Here's a screen shot of what I received. Thoughtfully, my Apple e-mail put the message in the Junk folder. An I correct in my suspicions?

100% fishing expedition and the downlink is probably either a virus or some other form of malware.

Get off your high Horse Thomas - I have no problems with the social distancing rules being applied and this is just a lighthearted diversion without implying any serious difficulty or objection the necessary steps we all need to take to protect ourselves and each other. Now you have got your medals out I should say that three members of my family have worked in the NHS with one of them currently working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week.

We have a government, like your own, who started to deal with this issue far too late which has led to many unnecessary deaths, most sadly in the Homecare sector.

And just for the record I was NOT ranting - didn't see any ranting going on in the cartoon.
