Nice capture of the color and composition, and a nice use of negative space. Lovely image.
I find that the introduction of the "ruby slippers" added a very interesting and dramatic element to an otherwise fairly static pattern shot. Really nice work!
Lovely series. I particularly liked number two with the composition, lighting, and most interesting subjects. Thanks for sharing.
Whatever the season, always praise with humility and gladness the beautiful creation of the Lord. Amen.
" If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
We need the Lord's grace in our country now more than ever...
Thank heavens you had the backup! That could really have been a disaster.
There's a certain melancholy about capturing images of these old barns. They always seem to evoke a sense of longing or loss, having been discarded and abandoned. Maybe there's something inside of us that resonates with that same idea…
Your use of selective color in the bee image is really cool. What a great way to make your subject stand out. Thanks for sharing that - now I'm gonna go try it on some work I've done.

I can't believe you missed the opportunity to say something like "How much better life would be if I owned a Canon mirrorless camera"!
I dream of being a better photographer - if I could only afford a better camera, that would do it for sure...
Oh boy! Talk about the right place at the right time! Once in a lifetime captures for sure.
Wonderful series, but interestingly enough, my favorite image is the hand. How like a human hand it really is.
A dramatic, introspective capture. So much character in the subject and the black-and-white is a wonderful treatment.
Creative processing, and I particularly like the use of the pastels. Nice work.
