I am a long time Sony user. In fact, I currently own 6 Sony bodies and numerous lenses. I never had any problem with the menu system and could not be happier with the Sony system. As others have advised seek help on YouTube. You will find a huge resource there. I think you will love the camera. I certainly do.

Wasabi brand off eBay or Amazon work great. I've used them for years now. You can get 2 and a charger for about 30.00 or so.

I have a set of Wasabi, a set of Vivitar, and the original set of Sony batteries. I use them in the Nex 6, A6000, and Rx10. I can't tell a bit of difference between them. All three work fine and last about the same length of time.

I own a Sony a6000 and use all my old Canon lenses with an adapter. It works great. Any Sony e mount camera is adaptable very easily.

I also have the a6000. I have the Sony adapter which allows use of all my Minolta AF lenses. My favorite has been the adapter for Canon FD manual lenses. I have the Sony 18-200 e mount lens coming now. I love mine and can't wait for this new lens to arrive. I'm sure you will enjoy this camera too.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. It seems that I take a lot of photos that are less than good to get those few that I am really proud of.
