The tracks are level, plus the are running away from you, and the background is an orange grove on a hill. The road is on a hill also. I see level tracks and level clouds.

I'm on your team. Love the composition, conflicting lines or not. :P :P :P :P

I saw with amusement that California was voted the most disliked state in the union. I wonder could it be envy? I think Cisco, Google, and Apple, HP, Oracle, Ebay, Facebook, Youtube and many others that are here in my neighborhood, they must like it. I know the real reason we are not liked, but this is not the place to talk about it. :-D :-D :-D

You are absolutely correct. Also, this is a Photography Forum. Your pictures are fantastic. Ca. has such a multitude of areas to enrich any photographer.

Your sunset is fantastic and spiritual. The water reflection just makes it that much better. I'm usually embarressed to post myself.

I'm a newbee to UHH. I'm sure I have made some mistakes posting to the forum. Sometime senior types are very forgetful. If I have stepped on anybody's toes, my apologies. I greatly enjoy and respect UHH members and their postings. Eagles are some of my favorites.
Lets try to forgive and forget, while better understanding the forum rules, speaking for myself of course.

Irrigator,
You are doing it again. Your fantastic photography at Yellowstone gets me dreaming of the one two-week visit I made in the summer of 1989. Took pics with an Asahi Pentax film camera from the early sixties. The pictures are what I call "Dime Store Postcards". I am grateful that you share your excellent work on the UHH. It's a dream trip for me. Hope you don't mind a couple of mine. I know the quality doesn't come close to yours.

Took this while walking the trails near my home. I used the effects feature from iPhoto to turn it B&W.

Very nice photo. I like the post edit in B&W. What camera, lens and settings did you use.

Yellowstone, one of the most amazing places on earth.

Nicely done irrigator. Yellowstone is a place that all should see in person.
Great color on #2. "The earth runneth over".
