Again, I'm thankful for my Granddaughter. I'm also thankful that she has always been so positive and giving. Luckily, she has also loved flowers and eating vegetables right out the garden.
When she found the steps up to the roof, she wanted to go but was afraid. I mentioned that the view was so different and neat. She tried it at her dad's side. I was so proud of her for overcoming her fear and trying something new.

A true kid, Lee ....luv it

I am thankful to be very much alive. 27 years ago I was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer which had grown rapidly in a short period of time. The oncologist anticipated it would return within 5 years - well, thank God, I am still here. I endured chemo, a bald head and worked as a nurse through the entire 7 months of chemo. Cancer changed me in some ways - for the better, I'd say. Family and friends became so important to me. My faith became a relevant factor in my life. I believe what I often told my patients that had just learned they had cancer - DO NOT die before your time. What?? Yes, don't sit around waiting for the Grim Reaper. Instead, make every day count and never ever say "Some day" or "I'll get to that another day." Do it NOW and enjoy every minute.

I am very thankful for these 2. #1 is my husband on a 1954 Indian Patrol he bought when he was about 13. He wanted to re-enact the photo (but the surroundings are no longer there) with our eldest grandson who, looks somewhat like his grandfather. I am thankful for a hard working, loving, well respected husband who helps me around the house too. I am very thankful for our grandsons and for the special times I've had with this one.

[quote=PAToGraphy]p. 3 Well, says Pat, you may have been raised there BUT you never grew up, RR. You still enjoy a good prank - visual or otherwise - love to fish, work hard, spin stories and have never lost your sense of adventure. I want to be like you when I grow up (if I grow up)[/quL

A big LOL, Pat
