Yes, of course the camera matters, but your shot of the Battenkill River lacks nothing, It's great. Not everyone can get that kind of work from a simple camera. Sorry I didn't answer sooner but there was no reply block on the page.
This shot of an eagle I surely would have missed completely if I hadn't had a small camera right in my pocket.
I like your work.

To me the most important factor is seeing the picture...and having a camera WITH YOU with a reasonably good lens to capture it. A good EYE may be the secret. This website is fun, it helps me to enjoy photograhy more. Thank you ALL !
DRON I took all three of these with a 4mp Olimpus C-765 Ultrazoom but always on automatic. The camera I am using now is a Canon power Shot SD 970 IS and I keep it always on automatic. Thanks, BlueSkies
I am a retired old guy who loves to travel, all the lower 48 by motorcycle, car , motorhome with my wife of nearly 60 years. Along with travel, there is camping, photography (Point and Shoot)for the fun of it and to share with my friends , Jeeping the highest reaches of Colorado Mtn. passes (San Juan Mts.), wildlife, exploring the Low Country of SC, kicking back on the Chesapeake Bay. Did I mention, we love to laugh (Anywhere).
