Phil, From my experience typical camera manufacturer's lenses match their lenses to their body to what you call a sweet spot.

Phil, visually, my opinion is that one couldn't tell the difference between whatever the sweet spot is and any other setting. Personally, I don't worry about it.

Another 'myth' is associating an f-stop with diffraction.

Is there an online listing of a lens' sweet spot associated with the camera it is mounted?
Thank you.

A bright screen is not necessarily the best for photography. Many monitors not made specifically for photography are too bright to be accurate for photography out of the box. That is why calibration is important.

Thank you. I will remember that.

Thank you for the numbers.
Thank you for your time. Would you please do me 1 more favor.
With the monitor in its lowest position on the stand, what is the measurement from the bottom of the monitor to the surface, and the top of the monitor to the surface?
is the screen bright and text clear? Is the creen easily adjustable in the up and down position?
Thank you and I promise not to ask you any more questions, but I am very interested in your n monitor.

When I purchased my iMac PRO I also purchased the LG monitor that exactly matched the monitor on the PRO. When using Lightroom I use it extensively to have items such as previews on one screen and he photo I'm working on on the other. Works very well for me and, once color matched, has consistent color from screen to screen, which is something I consider to be critical. Best of luck.

Thank you for your reply.
What LG monitor did you buy?

I've been using a BENQ 27" on my old Mac Pro for the last year. My RGB print match and CMYK press printing accuracy is fantastic.

Thank you for youe reply.
Is it a 27 in BENQ 271?

I generally have found Dell monitors are inexpensive and excellent. If you charge your MacBook via a USB C cable, get a monitor that connects and charges with the same cable. It makes for a very clean desktop. I have bought several monitors for my office on sale from B&H.

I have an Apple monitor. Absolutely flawless performance. Perfect color and resolution. Somewhat pricey though.

Sometimes more is not always better. You should consider how the monitor will perform during times of high use.

Please recommend a 27-inch external monitor for a MAC computer. This will be used with Lightroom and Photoshop. Money does matter, do you think it is worth the extra money to buy a 5K over a 4K monitor?
Thank you for your help.

Great flash and I do own it. Get the accessory kit with diffusers, bounce card and some other accessories. Easy to attach these to the flash head via magnetic connection.

Thank you for your help
