Great series pixelmaven.
I especially like #2-Against The Window. The reflections of the both the bluebird and the child add interest. That is topped off with the Teddy bear refection. Some might say that is busy. I think it is fun and alive. Very nice.

These are absolutely fantastic. The PP on #1 creates an image that dramatically changes as you view it closer and closer - it goes from vivid at a distance to sureal up close. The dark background really emphasizes the subjects. I love to shoot flowers and this series is an inspiration and a goal. Thanks for posting.

Hi GWZ, You asked for some more bees...here are a few..
The first one is bursting out of the center of a Rose, the others I call drunk bees, they kept falling over due to being drunk on nectar...it was hilarious...

Ron, These are great. You certainly are a 'bee miester'! Thanks.

If you have PSE, they are included in the program. The background in this photo was made from PSE, not something that was photographed and later added.
Thanks for watching.

I've enjoyed your examples and doing the lessons using the samples included in PSE (there certainly are a lot). I want to try using your ideas with some patterns I find around the house. These 'overlay templates' so far have included brick pavers with varying amount of snow and multiple shots of the wavelike effect of drifted snow. I look forward to seeing what can be done with these and a 'regular' image. Thanks for the inspiration.

Nice creation! After watching your last tutorial, I've been watching for some natural backgrounds and patterns to use your techniques on in the future.

What a great eye! Most people would walk right by this beauty.

Thank you for the kind comments. These 'things' spring up in lots of places and are fun to find. It is just as much fun trying to properly capture them - but much harder then discovering them. Glad you enjoyed!.

The recent snowfall was a treat that needed to be explored. Walking down the driveway, the Valentine's flag stood in stark contrast to the white snow. The first 2 in this series document the setting to celebrate Valentine's Day. They are nice but not very exciting. Then, the sun emerged and a sparkle on the flagpole finial caught my eye and the fun began! The third photo is the end result. This is the kind of surprise that keeps me picking up my camera. This is much like my love for my wife on Valentine's Day - always surprising and exciting!
Thank you to Snap Shot for posting his video lessons. They encouraged me to play with PP and post on the Hog.
As usual, the downloads contain more detail. Hope you enjoy these.

Love the way you took that and blurred out everything else

Thanks. That was the lens and not PP. Much to learn.
