I switched and I love it. Takes some time to learn the basics but , I found a good resource book as mentioned by some of the members and that is "Switching to a Mac" by David Progue called the "missing manual" and get the Yosemite edition.
Best place to buy it is Amazon.com. A good resource book to have. Good luck!
Is there an adapter for my Sony A77M2 that will allow me to use my Canon 7D lenses? I'm currently using a Sony 18-135mm 3.5-5.6 SAM as my walk around lens and I would like to use some of my Canon lenses. I'm also looking for some good A mount lenses. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I have a a77m2 and it has an excellent viewfinder. You can go either way and it is automatic. When you raise the camera to look through the viewfinder it automatically comes on, Nothing to push to activate.
I loveit
Welcome to the forum, Djacks. You picked the
right place to come for good information and knowledgeable experienced photographers.
Thanks, Nick, downloaded the software yesterday and it is as you say one of the best on the market for Sony. Easy to understand and well done. You really couldn't ask for better instructions than this.
For those of you than own a Sony A77ii or any Sony check out this site.
Hi and greetings to all from a new member. I'm Wendell from northern California in the heart of Redwood Country.
Started taking photos with a Kodak bellows camera that belonged to my Dad. Have had lots of different cameras during the film days and also digital cameras with my present being a Canon 7D. Purchased from B&H about 5 years ago. Looking to update for a lighter camera.
Santa came and left me a Sony A77ii. Now if I can figure out their menu system and terminology, I'll be on my way.
Anyone know of any good manuals or utube videos that might help? Thanks in advance for any help or experiences that you have had with this camera.
