I like them, but if you don't, that's fine. They have a pretty simple menu, but that's probably a good part of why it works. My wife liked their "animal fries". I can't stand them. Different tastes. "Five guys" are good but I think they are too expensive and their portions are to large for me.
If we don't start yelling at each other someone will probably complain. I don't know if you are even allowed to be polite in the attic.

Please do be polite in the Attic. It sets an example for some others.

In-and-Out, Five Guys both are good, not great, good. I just had an Arby's roast beef for my very late lunch. I was doing errands, Dr Apt and tried to take a nap-no luck, I had my hearing aids* in, and they pick up the birds in the yard just fine. Sounds like I have a flock of them perched on my head.
Carl's and Jack in the Box are a bit better in my opinion but I am fixated on McDonald's. The first one I ever saw was 1/2 block from the college I went to my first two years and it was our college cafeteria for 1 1/2 years until the new campus outside town opened with a cafeteria and its own park.
A former Vice President left his family estate to the Kentucky state college system to be a combined public and VA college. The old family mansion was the admin offices and library. Rolling hills with forest and open meadows mixed, that new campus was beautiful.

Wow, that sounds suspiciously like a "Trump retribution trial" investigation opener.

Dude, if you didn't know, Texas music is the salvation of Texas.

I didn't dislike the US enough to leave as you say. I lived under RR as my governor but heh.heh, not as my POTUS. I went to Aussie in 81 as a "permanent resident" with the intention of a two year surfing/working holiday. One thing led to the next and it was ten years before we visited the US. We stumbled into an economic boom and haven't looked back.

But yeah, it's mostly "unexciting times" here in Aussie. But no, sweet talk me all you like but this Yank is not coming back (for good). It's mostly the preachers and the gun-wacks and the MAGAs that put me off.

Well, I listen to many types of music, and used to play many, many types from classic to Andes Indian Flutes, County (I'm from Kentucky), Blue grass, New Age, Native American, Blues, Rag Time, Boogy Woogy, Ranchero, Folk, Gospel, Cajun, Persian Music,* Broadway Show Tunes, Chinese Classical, Antique/Middle Ages, Folk Music from many countries around the world and others for my students in the classroom during work time. Anything but what they normally listened to. I still have six 3 foot shelves full of CDs stacked two high and two deep. Once I caught a gang member stomping to the drums and bobbing his head like crazy to Scotland the Brave by a group of Scottish Regimental Pipes. "Hey Mister, what is this stuff? It makes me want to go out and get in a fight!"

In Vietnam the Tactical Operations Office where I worked would sometimes get visits from representatives of the combined Australian-New Zealand Task Force. Nice guys.

My oldest boy a few years ago had his Army Reserve Unit merged with a group from the Canadian "Princess Patricia Light Infantry", trained together in Alaska for two weeks and then flew non-stop to Australia where they parachuted in as the aggressor force for a big Pan Pacific war game. I had to listen to him complain and cuss about not getting the stains and smell of kangaroo poo out of his uniform and gear for three months and a bunch of cleanings with everything he and his buddies could think of before their gear stopped smelling. He is not a big fan of kangaroos now.

*The wife and I are members of the Baha'i faith and know many Persian Baha'i families.

PS: I am a Gun Wack, sorta. I grew up in Western Kentucky hunting, fishing and target shooting, then the Army, then Armed Alarm Response Security part-time while in college and my first few years teaching. I own guns, shoot guns at the range and have a few collectables I would never dream of shooting. I may be old now, but if things got really bad and the local PD/Sheriff called for volunteers I could at least be a guard at a fixed location to free officers for other things.

For instance. California raised the minimum wage that effected chain restaurants with more than 60 stores national wide, they had to raise the price about 10% and now many lower income patrons can’t afford those prices. But the other side of that coin is that ow they are dining at smaller restaurants that are more affordable. Pros and cons in this case. But that wasn’t the point anyway.

They made the minimum wage $20 an hour and the economic columns and reporters are saying we have just seen the start of the price increases.
They are also predicting a cut in staff so service will go down and a lot of jobs lost.

Sorry, "wingly, winger media" or as mama and them say ... "Wingly-dinger winger media!"

Hmm? You dislike the US so much you moved to Australia and stayed but you use "Tex" in your user name but Texas is part of the US so it must be bad. If it is so good you would have stayed.

And your major pass time seems to be nosing into and commenting on US Politics from a Democrat or left wing point of view and opinions. If this is your major interest you should have stayed here and really got involved.
Or doesn't Australia have enough politics to keep you entertained?

Bye for now, my news shows are recorded, time to watch with my thumb on "Fast Foreward".

Yes "winger media", "left winger"(the majority) and "right winger" the minority.

Then you should know better. A jury trial is a very unreliable place to try to determine t***h. A jury verdict is simply a matter of opinion. It is required to convict a person of a crime, but not sufficient to determine the t***h of a crime. The number of wrongly convicted and reversed death sentences is evidence of that.

But, the evidence available publicly in this case is sufficient to conclude that Trump is guilty. Defending Trump is not a matter of t***h, but politics.

And how do you know that evidence is true, pray tell?

And I don't believe Trump is an angel, very few of us are. I also don't believe he is a devil (but you seem to), again very few of us are.

You forget that most of the money the government spends goes to individuals and family.

Some individuals and family, not all, and it is not evenly collected or paid; the more you make, the more you pay and the less you get by %, the less you make, the less you pay and the more you get by %.

“Without the Bush and Trump tax cuts, debt as a percentage of the economy would be declining permanently.“

But individual and family incomes would also be permanently lower. The debt would be lower if Congress spent less money. One day they will have to control the deficiet and start paying it off. The longer they wait the more it is going to hurt everyone.

I taught economics for a while.

In more normal times being an "adjudicated rapist" is career ending ... period. But not now. Jesus wept.

Sexual Abuse is what the jury found. Not rape. Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment can be looking, leering, words or gestures without getting anywhere near the person.

Just like "Assault" is threatening in such as way someone fears injury. Actual injury or just touching is "Assault and Battery". Legally two different things.

Trump did it.

You believe he did it, but are you correct? Until proven one way or the other it is an opinion, not a fact. Once proven it is either a true fact and your opinion is correct or it is a false fact and your opinion in incorrect.

Yes, a lot of my High School and Jr High School students had trouble with fact vs opinion and true vs false. For that matter, so did some of the other teachers.

Here's a fact for you.

Until yesterday, trump had only been campaigning on weekends, so the NY Court Case has NOT been keeping trump from campaigning!

Then the two campaign events trump held yesterday were utter fiasco's!

The sharp decline in trump's mental state of mind has been extremely visible.

They're using the equivalent of an adult picture book to keep trump calm in the courtroom. What a waste of natural resources with all of the paper used to print those "happy" trump articles.

It is called, don't eat it if you can't clean/wash it.

My Grandfather sprayed his fields before planting and before any fruit, corn etc. was to edible stage. After that he sprayed a barrier around the fields but not the food crops themselves. We had orders to leave the crows and other birds alone since the insects they ate would have done more damage than the birds would eating things. He would plant a few tomato plants in the rows of corn, tobacco or along the edges of the pastures. Those were for snacking while working, he carried a shaker of salt in cellophane in his pocket and either wiped them down with a handkerchief or washed them in the creek. Same for the pears, apples or cherries in the orchard, wipe or rinse and have a snack.
