Thinking of moving from Nikon crop and FF to Olympus

I moved from Canon full frame to Oly (and Fuji). For eye focus and for birds generally, the Olympus is far superior to anything else that I’ve seen. Add the amazing image stabilization and Olympus has trumped the field. Less weight is nice, but I suspect that it’s not that big a deal for most of us compared to the superior technology.

I switched from Canon full frame. The attached photos are from the New Oly System camera. The focus options and image stabilization are incredible. The photos were taken handheld from about thirty yards away.

I will not go back to heavier full frame gear.

Kind of the opposite. I sold all my Canon equipment to Arlene Sheras (Used Photo Pro) and went heavily into Fuji (XT-4 etc.) I’ve also a good deal of Olympus equipment I use for birds etc. and where weight matters.

Should I buy Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mk III

I sold my Canon equipment and got a great price. The Oly and Panasonic equipment enables me to go out with my camera much more often because of the smaller size and weight. I’m not a professional, but I have over 70,000 photos in my library. I doubt I could detect any fall off in quality. The IS is very good.

I assume that this is already sold, but my interest was piqued by the fact that this camera takes Sony “e-mount,”lenses. Does that mean that the Sony lenses for Sony’s APS C a6600 will work fine on the Sony A7c? (Cropped, of course.) I don’t see that clarified anywhere.
