I had trouble getting mine tight and then trying to get it to release. I purchased a pair of needle nose pillars & keep them in the camera bag. Works like a charm.

I use LR and Elements 11. I also have some of the Topaz filters. I shoot with Nikon D7000 and D700. I'm considering the onOne 8 package. Does anyone use it? Pros and cons. Thank you for replys.

I've never had any trouble with renewal. I recently purchased a new car (my second with XM) and had the remaining time on the original car transferred with it. Not a problem. If I remember correctly one gets an extra month of service by using the auto renewal feature.

Try manual focus, f/11, 1/25 sec, ISO 200. Use live view to focus, camera on tripod, remote release

I also use a fishing vest. Plenty of pockets of various sizes. Holds everything I need and is inexpensive.

Several days ago there was a topic "Gloss or Matte" which resulted in interesting answers. My local choices for printing competition images is Costco which offers gloss or matte or Sam's club which prints only gloss. I would be interested in sources that do individual prints using various paper and not costing arms & legs for 16x20's. I'm new and appreciate the help you are willing to share. Thank you!

Thank you! I wish I had had this when I first purchased my DSLR. I'm sharing this with several friends who have recently purchased new DSLRs.

Thanks for sharing. I grew up in KC and moved west four years ago. I miss it.

Hi! I'm new but will offer my opinion. I have a Nikon D7000 and use a Really Right Stuff ball head on tripod and matching bracket on camera. I have a Black Rapid strap that crosses my body. A small RRS clamp is attached to strap and then clamps onto the camera bracket leaving nothing attached to camera except the support bracket. Really like the Black Rapid product. Perhaps a little pricey but worth it.
