Absolutely super! Thanks for sharing.
Superb captures of several views I’ve never seen before. Love the sky/clouds shot with the sun peaking through.
These shots are more views from my visit in mid-June. As before, all were shot in camera raw using a Nikon 7100 and Nikon 18 - 140 mm zoom lens. Post-processing was in Photoshop CC using it's camera raw filter. No "effects" filters were used.

Lovely shots! (I love azaleas....)
David, Thanks! I'm right there with you on your love of Azaleas. They just say "Spring is here" to me, living in North Central Florida. I just wish their bloom season here was longer.

I'm very jealous. My wife and I traveled from San Diego to Maine, in part, to visit Acadia National Park and take pictures from Cadillac Mountain. We were there for only a day and during that time the rain and fog precluded seeing more than about six feet, maximum, in any direction. We loved the visit and especially the lobster and chowder but will have to return sometime for pictures.

Ah yes, the lobster, mmmm! I got lucky with only one rainy day. If you make it for Fall, the blueberry plants that grow wild have some great fall color. I went up on Cadillac for sunrise and it was foggy at the very top but a short ways below summit it was quite clear.

Looks like a beautiful place
It is indeed. I'd love to see it in the Fall.
Thanks for the two-thumbs-up.

Beautiful tour, thanks for taking us!
Asticou Azalea Garden is modeled after a traditional Japanese stroll garden and is just outside Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. It is a non-profit (donations accepted) jewel that features 70-plus species of azaleas, rhododendrons, and laurels blooming from May onward followed by an autumnal display running into October. These shots featuring azaleas were taken in mid-June in mid-afternoon.

Thanks so much. I got lucky with the weather on the lighthouse shot, Day before was totally dreary.
