Sorry for your loss. I am sure you had many fun times with him.
Great ideas! Thanks to all! I like the idea of learning more about what you are photographing so you can get closer. I use the button next to the viewfinder for focusing and you are, right it make a huge difference. As far as the Nikon teleconverters go, I can use them but I loose autofocus. Thats one reason I considered the Kenko. I would much rather keep all my optics Nikon. Thanks for all the input!
Thanks dooragdragon. That is what I was thinking. I am a bit nervous buying Sigma. Always had Nikon. It might be time to retire my old Nikon lens.
Hello all! Here it goes! I have a Nikon d300s and often use a Nikon 300 af f4 lens (its the old slow af year 2000 model). I need a bit more reach for wildlife photography and was considering a Kenko 1.4 converter or the Sigma 150 500. What would you do? The Kenko would slow my focus down even more but I would end up with 5.6 f-stop versus Sigma 6.3. Read a lot of post regarding the Sigma lens but not to much info on the Kenko teleconverter. Everyone seems to be happy with the Sigma. Can I expect similar results between the two options with regards to sharpness and image quality?
Glad you enjoyed them. I can't wait to get out and look for shed antlers! Actually I just can't wait for winter to be over.
These were taken in the last two weeks! Having fun with it!
Love the lighting and the exposure is right on! Nice shots!
I have both the 20 and 30 Think Tank Holster bags with the belt that they attach to and could not be happier! Plus the think tank 20 fits a smaller lens and when you want to put a larger lens on the bottom zips around and makes the bag longer. I use it for d300s and 300mm f4 lens. Works great and also comes with a rain cover. Well thought out product
This was covered on UHH a short time ago. Not saying it is wrong but what would you do with a photograph of a lady and her children? Just curious! Sell it? Hang it on your wall?
I am just curious, not that I am judging, why would anyone want to take pictures of strangers? What do you do with the photographs without a model release? I have never done that, not that it is wrong. Just curious
Cold to warm to fast is what causes condensation. As others have said I warm my equipment up slowly and put the gear in bags just in case they do condensate. Never had any problems!
