If you think of old film producing a negative, Thats equivalent to a RAW image in digital terms. If you shoot digital on a programme, this the equivalent to a print form a negative in pre digital terms. So Raw, or digital negative, will give you all the information in the scene of the picture you take, from which you can produce a digital image or print in a PP programme of your choice. RAW gives you much more information to work with.

Thank you again, GWR, I will have to look into this :-)

Thank you so much. I may take you up on it because I don't know anything about RAW except that they take up a lot of space?

Think I'm big enough to take a little bit of criticism.
If I like it / am happy with it , then that'll do for me.

It must be an epidemic. I took several shots today of different house finches and the all had the same problem with varying degrees.

I know pink eye or conjunctivitis is very contagious. I feel so bad for them...

All of the houses i have shown were threatened with destruction. They were carefully dismantled, conserved and rebuilt to their original form and are now all at the Weald and Downland open air museum Singleton West Sussex. There are over fifty buildings set in 50 acres of land.

These are fantastic! Thank you for posting :-D
