The fair or anywhere :). Our fair is taking entries next week, then the State Fair is next month. I'm wondering if I have anything worth entering.

thank you for that bit of helpful info. "I'm hooked" the blue is the boat. the hooks were just hanging there and the deckhand asked me what I was photographing. he didn't "get it". but I am glad you "got it". thanks. that too was one of my faves from our vacation. those are the hooks we used on our deep sea shark fishing trip

I just love your eye. I bet it can be cleaned up to perfection. You should enter it!

which one are you talking about?

I think you might be talking to me? "I'm hooked", the fish hooks with the blue background. It appears to be melting ice but I can't tell for sure. The lines of the water and the hooks are pleasing.

If you click "quote reply" we know to whom you're addressing :).

Too bad we can't just click "Like" (or LOVE) on each photo instead of bogeying up the thread with our accolades, but these are AMAZING and wonderful!

I took this so I could print it on a Thank You card for my step-mother.

My son returned from visiting his grandparents in northern Oregon last week and pulled these out of his suitcase.

"These are for you from Grandma."

Grandma and I haven't spoken for a while. LONG story.
So, these cherries from their wonderful little farm mean a lot.

here are my favorites from this past week.. I have more but don't want to seem like a page hog.

looking at it again, it could be a bit sharper, but maybe you can try again? The flow of the colors and lines... so so nice.

I'm new here, too, and you joined on my birthday :). I can't wait to see more.

"I'm hooked".

Well, SO AM I. You rock! Thanks! THIS one should be on display. I know of a gallery in Newport, OR that would compliment it very nicely! What a wonderful photograph. I grew up on the coast of northern California, so all things fishing cause a stir in my heart, but THIS is one awesome image. (imho!)

Word of advice...I was almost scammed by a seller on Amazon Prime who offered a low price (although it was not outrageously low) on a Canon lens. I bit and received an "Invoice" from what looked like Amazon.

I had a question before paying and copied the invoice into my email which auto spell checks. It flagged five spelling errors and when I examined the "Invoice" further I discovered that the email links (for security, etc.) to Amazon were actually to gmail accounts! Like Amazon would have misspellings and use gmail?

If a deal is too good to be true it usually is.....don't let your greed get in the way of safe web purchase practices.

GREED or common sense? I look for the deals because I don't throw my money around out of fear. Sorry to hear you ran into a scumbag. Yes, they're out there, but ODDS put us in favor of running into GOOD guys.

Don't forget Craigslist!! A few here might not believe how inexpensively I've purchased all I need for a very nice studio.
