I bought a 2nd D300 a year ago, just to have one available for a longer lens on a tripod near the window to capture wildlife. You can't go wrong with this camera! It is a workhorse and the price is right.

Great camera! A workhorse that will serve you well. I bought another one after my flash failed and use one of outside and one for inside.

Caravan Tours. Started in Phoenix, ended in Vegas. Reasonable, professional and everything we had hoped for. We stayed at the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and in Zion.

Are you open to a trade of lenses and/or camera body? I recently bought a Nikon 810 and have a Nikon D3, plus several 2.8 Nikon lenses that I would be willing to part with for similar combination values to your $1075 200-500mm.
