Nice find. Maybe grab a few friends to act as models. They can provide something additional to draw the eye.
Ah, then I would love it for sure. The stretch to Taree and beyond is fantastic! Last year enjoyed Stradbroje Island (Stradie) for several days. The variety of seascapes was excellent. Still it's small - relatively speaking.
Ah, got it. Sounds like it can be hit or miss.
I've emailed her several times at dlstokes@aol.com but perhaps I'm ending up in junk. Has anyone successfully contacted her at this email address? Received her birding tips?
Thank you. ~ Adrienne
Sounds good to me. The big software companies want to use the hardware printer company model - streaming monthly cash inflow.
So far, I refuse to play their game.
Fun. Don't know offhand where Yamba is but when I was in Qld and NSW last year, I found the relatively unspoiled and hence pristine beaches south of the Qld border stunning. Particularly taken by Taree. Magic colors - the whitest sand. The sure skies. The most aqua water! Just stunning. ~ Adrienne
Actually I discovered as I entered my sixties that my Canon long lenses became too heavy for me to with with. Arthritis in my thumbs and fingers made the weight (for hours) difficult! So my Fuji XT-1 is fantastic. It's incredibly light weight. The variety of lens grows as climbs their popularity. So, me thinks, as as Boomers age, mirrorless sales will surge!
That's "take some dirt side roads...."
Suggestions: Did you ask any locals, park ranger, passersby if they'd been sighted? Did you wait several hours for them to return to the spot? Barring that did you take dirt some side roads to check out as far as the eye can see. - - A
A few unusual perspectives. Hope you enjoy. ~ A
Frodoboy, Can you please tell us the time of day you were there? Did you have to hike in on one side of the falls? Was it a sunny day? Cloudy? I've studied the late Michael Galen's tips for catching the rainbow, but am wondering about the sky conditions you encountered. - Thank you, Adrienne
Excellent photos with the elusive rainbow! Congratulations!
Thank you for the strap suggestion for mirrorless. I'm going to check it out now! - Kindly, Adrienne
