Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. Just wanted to say hello and get to know some of you.

A bit about me...
I am 27 years old. I'm in my second year of college working on a bachelors degree in photography. I have loved photography since age 12 but have loved art my entire life. I started with drawing and painting, sewing and crafts and then came the photography. These days I still enjoy my sewing but, since my love of photography, I don't paint or draw much at all. I also enjoy writing and documenting my photography experiences, etc. I am still new at it. I shoot with a Cannon Rebel T3i, I still only have the lens it came with but I am working on more (I think I want a zoom lens for starters, because I like to get really close). I have three tripods of different sizes for different shoots. I hate photos with myself in them. I love photos of everyone but me! Ha ha! I wish to one day start my business as a photographer but not until I get (or am closer to getting) my degree. I make it a point to shoot at least on picture a day and my favorite part is editing my images. I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Here is my latest creation. My watermark says 2012 because that's when the original shot was taken but I have recently learned how to merge and color images from scratch in Photoshop. Hope you all enjoy!

I am VERY open to honest critiques, tips, etc., because they only make me better so please, don't be shy to tell me what I can improve on. It's what I am here for ;)

This is my daughter drawing in her sketchbook. She gets her love for art from me (had to brag). I recently added my girlfriend and our dog playing in the snow to her sketchbook to make it look like her drawing is coming to life (at least that's what I hope you see).
