SCOTTISH COMPASSION

A man was sitting on a blanket at the beach.
He had no arms and no legs.
Three women, from England , Wales , and Scotland , were walking past and
felt sorry for the poor man.
The English woman said "Have you ever had a hug?"
The man said "No," so she gave him a hug and walked on.
The Welsh woman said, "Have you ever had a kiss?"
The man said, "No," so she gave him a kiss and walked on.
The Scottish woman came to him and said, "'ave ya ever been f…..d, laddie?"
The man broke into a big smile and said, "No".
She said, "Aye, well ya will be when the tide comes in.

From the relatively brief period I lived in Scotland around 10 years ago I would suggest the Tories, though right wing and conservative by European standards, do not come anywhere close to being Republican. I suspect even the Democrats are further right.

I have heard this before, if so, then an american must view our Labour Party almost as bad as Communists!

They would be wrong of course, the Socialists over here don't have the convenience of a Siberia to get rid of free-thinkers, much as I'm sure they would like to! :)

In a nutshell,

there is no progressive liberal socialist party.
After the last election, the party called the Liberal Democrats went into coalition with the Tories (an alternative name for the Conservatives)
much to the chagrin of many of their supporters their leader, Nick Clegg accepted the post of deputy PM, to become the Tory party 'tea boy'. He has almost destroyed the party and they have suffered badly in local elections ever since. The Tories stand for greed and lining the pockets of the already rich to the detriment of the poor, weak and elderly and enslavement of the working classes.

Their main rivals are the Labour party, once the voice of the
Trade Unions in parliament, but now emasculated, lacking positive leadership and trying to distance themselves from their roots. They are never as cruel to the less fortunate when they are in power.

U.K.I.P. is a relatively new, right wing party committed to the UK leaving the European Union and preventing immigration. They are regarded by most as the B.N.P. in blazers.
The British National party, (often called the British Nazi Party) has inspired many minor right wing racist parties, funded by the rich but appealling to the poor white working class (your white trash)

Hope this helps.
In a nutshell, br br there is no progressive libe... (show quote)

The above explanation of Britain's political parties is only partly correct, that is up to the his statement about the Tories.
The Tories (Conservatives) are similar to your Republican party, they stand against anything that smells of Socialism.
We had the Labour (Labor) party in power for over ten miserable years with Tony Blair in charge, and they were a complete disaster for us Brits!
The country is still trying to recover from the spend and tax policies of these union influenced, woolly-headed individuals.
UKIP - (United Kingdom Independence Party) is a breath of fresh-air blown in from a group (still small, but growing very rapidly) of people who want us to clamp down very hard on immigration, come out of Europe with its dominating laws etc. and many other things beneficial to us.
As far as the B.N.P. go they are not even worth mentioning, they are a tiny group of hate filled racists! (by the way, not funded by the so called rich.)
So I hope this nutshell has given you a whiff of understanding British politics, obviously the other chap above is one of a different political persuasion to myself.

The Cremated Husband

Martha recently lost her husband. She had him cremated and brought his ashes home.

Picking up the urn that he was in, she poured him out on the patio table.

Then, while tracing her fingers in the ashes, she started talking to him....

You know that dishwasher you promised me? I bought it with the insurance money!"

She paused for a minute tracing her fingers in the ashes then said,

"Remember that car you promised me? Well, I also bought it with the insurance money!"

Again, she paused for a few minutes and while tracing her fingers in the ashes she said,
"Remember that diamond ring you promised me? Bought it too, with the insurance money!"

Finally, still tracing her fingers in the ashes, She said, "Remember that blow job I promised you? Here it comes!”

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen
mask over his mouth and nose. A young student nurse appears and
gives him a partial sponge bath.

"Nurse,"' he mumbles from behind the mask, "are my testicles black?"

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only
here to wash your upper body and feet."

He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, please check for me. Are my
testicles black?"

Concerned that he might elevate his blood pressure and heart rate
from worrying about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment
and pulls back the covers.
She raises his gown, holds his manhood in one hand and his testicles
gently in the other.

She looks very closely and says, "There's nothing wrong with them,
Sir. They look fine."

The man slowly pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her, and says
very slowly, "Thank you very much. That was wonderful. Now listen
very, very closely:

Are - my - test - results - back?"

I don't have to imagine, Bob. In years gone by, it happened quite a few times, it being my local!

Infocas....Mine does often, but when you gotta go, you gotta go!

Jay Pat....I think a few have on occasion. Either with trouble due to being out of focus, or fear of having too close a proximity! Probably the former.
