I like it! I like the shadows and somehow the structure says, "great strength" to me. Very nice.

Hi....I'm Jim. I live in the foothills southwest of downtown Denver. I have a Nikon D40X that I would like to learn to use more. I'd like to buy a used wide angle lens for my camera as well.
I will be posting questions and hope this forum can provide me with answers.

Hi Jim, Looks like I'm the first to run across your post so I'll say welcome and warn you right up front, this sight is very addictive so beware!! You'll meet friendly, helpful, talented and fun people. Never a boring time here. If you go to "HOME" and look at the lists you'll find the classifieds. Maybe you did already but if there's a wide angle for sale that's where you'll find it. Good luck and glad you are here!

Hi everyone, I stumbled on to this site a few weeks ago and thought it would be fun to share photo info with so many interested people. I started shooting when I was around 10 yrs old with a Kodak brownie. I later moved up to my Mothers camera which had pull out bellows and you had to look down into a very small view finder. I studied photography, cinematography and several other Art mediums as well as music composition in college. I began teaching photography in 1980 and teach part time for continuing education through the Bd. of Ed. in my county.
I just purchased my first digital SLR after using a compact Olympus SP350 for a few years just playing around. I was hesitant to go digital and still shot important subjects on film. I have a couple film slr's, the Canon F1 and A1 and a 6X7 Mamia RB67 for pro shoots but thankfully I am now retired and shoot only for myself. The weight of the film cameras is in the past and I love my T2i.

HI! These are fantastic! I love your imagination and now I'm trying to use mine to decide what head to put on #2. Really, these are just so fun. The more I'm here the more I realize all I thought I knew about photography was just a drop in a puddle...it just gets better and better. Thanks so much for sharing your talent and imagination!! I'll retire next year and spend all my time shooting..because I just keep finding people like you who make my already overactive imagination just run wild!

Geat shots!!! Here is one of a waterfall about 3 miles from my place in Murphy.

Breathtaking! Reminds me of bridal veils for some reason...I know, that's a stretch of the imagination but mine's always stretched. Just a gorgeous place for sure!

Thanks "littlebiddle" for your help. Hoping I am in the right place. I just wanted to share some of the latest dog photos from some shoots taken over the last few months. Dogs are a perfect example of a natural model. Their poses are not always easy to capture but if you spend enough time with them before they tire out there are some really fun and cute poses to capture. So sorry for adding to the boudoir thread earlier. Was not my intention to impose on her thread. I thought she did a fabulous job.
Thanks "littlebiddle" for your help. Hop... (show quote)

Love the dogs no matter which thread they're on!!
