Well, this post is old enough that perhaps no one will see my response, but here is my take anyway. We have been in the end times since Jesus ascended to heaven (e.g. Hebrews 1:2), and we will be in the end times until he he returns. This obsession that American Christians have with trying to match newspaper headlines with Scripture is highly suspect, and has led to ridiculous things, like predicting the date of the rapture, which only brings shame to the church. We are to watch for Christ's coming, but it won't be in the newspaper.

Nobody is predicting anything except for the "wingnuts", but why would the bible give us clear indicators concerning the end times before Jesus return?

When in history has a "global governing order" been conceivable?

BUT James Shaw's B.S. is what makes James Shaw a complete B.S.er.

"Complete". How much more specific can you get? "Complete", that's everything with nothing left out. "Complete", that's like everything that comes out of your mouth and everything that comes through your keyboard …specific enough for you?

Did you know that threads containing the words "true" and "t***h" on the Internet are considered by most people to be spam?

Is that true?

Atheism is the cult of human sacrifice... under the guise of Women's Health & choice.... This is proof that Atheism is a religion, and should be labeled and treated as such- because you'll believe anything.

Very true Richie, they even have their doctrine on the "origin of species" …

…Darwinism

No!, Jesus willingly made his own sacrifice for us. As he told Pilot, you would have no power over me, had not the father given it to you.

Had Jesus been forcibly sacrificed, it would have meant nothing but his death. But his sacrifice was made freely, so his death provided a remittance for the sins of many. But his resurrection is the basis for our faith, and an assurance of our Salvation.

If Christ had not risen, then tomorrow we all die. So those of us who place our faith, and trust in Jesus, would be the most foolish of men. But he has risen, and therein lies our promise. Not in hid death, but in his life.
No!, Jesus willingly made his own sacrifice for us... (show quote)

If I can offer an observation.
Firstly the original post was great, interesting.
Secondly, as I mentioned earlier, the mention of religion or God, inevitably raises conflict. That is a given, no one will change that.
With respect, Graham, why put the two together in one post.
Religion isn't relevant to an otherwise great post.

Who's talking about religion, the OP was about the wonders of the human body/creation. There are more than a few folks who don't associate with any religion including Darwinism but can see (the obvious) clearly that a superior intelligence was involved in the creation of the human body. Some of us refer to Him as God…nothing religious about it.

Sometimes I am tempted to enter into discussion on this. However, this thread does not seem to be the place. And the mutual disrespect that often surfaces tends to sabotage all efforts. Pity.

Trust me Joe, to try and discuss this issue with James shaw is an absolute waste of time. I have learned to ignore his posts because all he can do is mock. He is not at all interested in truth and holds his religion of Darwinism dear to his heart.

Well! There is plenty of proof of Dinnasaurs but none that there is an existence of a god. It is simply a Faith. If it makes you a better person by believing, so be it.

And I'm sure that the miracles going on in the dinosaurs body were no less remarkable.

But "God" is even more amazing. I still want to know who or what created god. No one seems to be able to tell me. I don't buy the standard answer. Makes no sense at all. Guess there is no such thing.

Not to get off topic, but…Regardless of what one believes, some form of "intelligent designer" would have always existed without a beginning.

I know…it's impossible to wrap your head around that one!

And that's just scratching the surface…thanks and good post Graham.

It truly is amazing when one realizes how intricately we were designed.
