If I won the lottery I would probably get a Tesla whole house battery backup. I like the idea of instant changeover when power goes out. Generac has a delay before switching and I have to pull my portable generator out of storage to use it. What I don’t like about the Tesla unit is how to recharge it if the power is out for several days and it’s cloudy and snowing. There’s no perfect solution.

As a scuba diver that has seen them up close I enjoyed this.

While there are some industrial applications that use 240v the average house in the USA uses 110 volts. The term 220 refers to having two 110 line inputs used by air conditioners, dryers and other high usage home equipment.

This is a very good picture. Well posed, good lighting. The only fault I see is the addition of the shadow of the tree branches on her legs. To me it’s a distraction. The shadows behind her add to the picture. These are my observations, not intended to be negative in any way.

She and my grandfather were staunch members of their church. When asked about reading some of the more racy parts of these novels she replied that she just skipped over them. I feel the same way about a lot of things. Certain music, some art, newscasts, etc, don’t appeal to me. So I just skip over them knowing that other people may enjoy them.

I got DirecTv when it first started because we were moving to the country with no cable available. Thirty years later we dropped it because they kept raising the price. I checked out streaming ( we do get decent internet) but realized to get what we wanted to see, it would cost as much or more than satellite. We just get over the air channels. Limited viewing but free.

A couple of years ago I got one of those Windows has a problem calls. I told the guy I was using linex (can’t remember the correct spelling). He kept repeating that I had a problem with my windows computer. He never did understand what I was saying.

We have a semi landline. We have quite a few accounts tied to our landline number but we live in the countryside so we were constantly having the same previously mentioned issues. We now have a box that is a cell phone without internet capabilities. It does have a backup battery that lasts surprisingly long in case of power outages. We mainly switched because they promised cheaper bills than At&t. Main difference I see is they don’t charge for long distance calls.
