Last night as I turned off my laptop I was given a message to install updates for Windows 10. I clicked on update and shut down. This morning when I turned on my laptop Windows started applying the updates. After an hour and 20 minutes I was finally given control of my laptop.

Immediately I noticed that my background image was gone. When I went to re-establish it I found that all the pictures in my picture folder were gone along with all my music. No warning before the install to back things up.

Any thoughts?

Thanks to all who responded. I asked what I thought was a simple question that has become far too complicated. If I had wanted to build a new lens all you answers have great revelence. My mistake was asking a simple closed ended yes or no question. I appreciate all you responses and information. I got my simple amswer "Yes".

So thanks for all your answers and information.

Iam thinking about upgrading from my Canon T3i to the newer Canon T6i. Will my lenses from the T3i function the same on the T6i?

I visited Congaree in Sept 2012. I was working as a volunteer at the Sewee Environmental Center in Awankee, SC. It was not an easy place to get to as it off the beaten path. It is a small park with a lot of raised wooden walkways. Not all trails are as described on the trail map given at the center. Mosquitos were terrible so bring a lot bug spray. Also the humidity can be bad so bring a lot of water.

As far as photo ops. A lot of cypress tress with accompanyinf cupress knees. There were a lot of interesting cypress knee formations. Saw very little wildlife.

I did enjoy my brife visit.

Are you going through Charleston, SC bfore heading north to Hilton Head? If so I highly recommend a visit to The seewee Environmental Center. They have a great display of the wildlife in the area as well as informationon Loggerhead turtles. Additionally, they have several Red Wolves that are viewable. There are also a couple of short trails at the center that may provide a glimpse of alligators in the wild.

I had this happen a while back. IT was the type of card. Some computer card readers can not read the HD cards. Just a thought.
