Thanks, I know it breaks all the rules but I kind of like it.

Probably not the best photo I've ever taken but it reminds me of a fun day and I love the colours.

That's for the positive feedback folks. I have kind of lost my confidence with my photography lately but this s one of my all time favourites.

Hi
I bought my first DSLR 2 months ago and since then I have gone a bit snap happy. I really love taking photos but am a bit clueless when it comes to the technicalities. I posted some photos on facebook recently and a friend who has their own photography business offered to giv eme feedback. They then sent me a list of errors that I hade made and said things like 'do you not know the rule of thirds' and even when referring to a snap I had taken for fun, 'just no no no'! I would love some constuctive criticism and helpful tips but they were so negative in what they said and didnt tell me how to avoid the mistakes in future, just listed all the flaws. I feel like they have really chipped away at my confidence. As I said I am a bit clueless with the technicalities but was going to book a course for beginners but now I'm thinking should I even bother if I am that bad. Anyway, I've added some photos I took at the beach at the weekend. If anynone has any helpful tips I'd really appreciate it.
