No problems with my 7000 either ! Try a new card
It can be set to overflow - or one card writes jpeg and the other writes raw files - I'm sure there's another option but it has escaped me for now , if your cards are full it will come up on the display as FULL , as I found to my cost , kept firing shots off but none were saved

There is a firmware update for the 7000 I had mine updated last november when I bought the camera , try that as I haven't had that issue , maybe the update fixes that ?
hi , just thought id drop in to say hi , had a dslr for a while now but never really had the time to use it , have now found some spare , so have been out and about with family taking some shots , pics to follow :-)
