Should be an easy fix. Restart computer in safe mode. (F8 while re starting)Run your virus scan and restore computer.

The "times zoom" notation is simply the big number divided by the small one. "3x zoom" simply means the longest focal length is three times the shortest.

Don't forget to take into consideration the cost of lenses. Shooting nature and birds would probably require some good size lenses.

Hi Mark. Welcome to the group and congratulations on the new grandchild. Grandchildren are the best. What I would suggest about your post processing is to download one of the many free programs and play with some. A little experience with them will help you decide which one to buy or not.
