Although not new to UHH, I'm new to posting here. Thank you, all, for taking a look.
Thank you, Pat. I took them at Lake Tahoe.
Had fun watching a squirrel chomp on a pine cone like an ear of corn and a Steller's Jay dive bomb one again and again.
Good afternoon; I was very excited this morning to see a photo contest in the making. I am new to this site and have been enjoying the forum and viewing uploaded photos. There are some amazing photographers here. But in this contest I have noticed several photos that have obviously been post processed and even one with the photographers name on it, not to mention non wildlife photos....may I make a suggestion...that should we be lucky enough to do this again, that the original photo and cropped photo be uploaded together. I love the idea of 'straight out of the camera'. It makes one really think about the difference in composition and a snapshot. Thanks Tea8 for doing this. Very fun!
I belong to the Carson Valley Photo Club. It's about 7 years old. But keep me posted on your club...thanks
Thank you, all, for your 'welcome'. I live in the Carson Valley area of Nevada. What size photos are best for posting? Can one do small albums and if so, how?
Thanks.
Thanks, Bret. So what's the secret to adding photos. Trying to post more. Am I in the right place?
Thank you for the welcome. Yes,@14kphotog, my avatar is my shot. Now to figure out how to upload some photos...
I'm new here.
I like to photograph landscapes and animals. I've been very active in photography for the past 10 years. I still don't know everything and am very interested in learning. I like this web site. Very informative! :D
