What a great layout/setup, plus a terrific photo of the ladies. Excellent all around.
very well done, background and model.
Love that black on black photography and being able to perfect it as well. Excellent model as well.
interesting, I thought once they were blown over and the roots unearthed, it was finished. How long did it take to "sit/stand" up.
Attractive model, appropriate posing and great lightning. Well done
well done good colors and pleasant looking young model.
skin tones and lighting are both outstanding.
Great shots, great coloring in them as well.
Stick with what you are comfortable with....Mac or Windows. Agreed that Windows may give you a bigger bang for the buck plus if you go to a computer shop get them to quote a custom build in a good frame so you have the running speed and memory you need. I stayed with Windows and did exactly this. I had it build on a lap top, and probably to do it again I would choose a desk top/tower as I never move my computer. I have a Samsung tablet for portability purpose. I also brought into my set up a great size monitor. Make sure the computer tech and shop you choose knows what they are doing
sure love the colors. well done
A bit of work, but well done. IF I take a good "family picture" single or group, I have many times pulled the person(s) out and dropped them into a beautiful background landscape I have taken, have it printed and given as a gift. WOW is always the feedback. It's fun to do as well.
I'm a canon shooter and 80 years old this year. Have 4 active canons of different productions models. Even with the same manufactures, I have a hard time switching the brain when I pick up my: SD3500, then my 50D, then my 70D then for along shot my SX50....and remember what feature is offered on what camera.......and my kids tell me to get myself a new camera for my birthday....geesssss

Some neglected cabins.
just love these pictures. with living on the prairies and north in central Canada, there are lots of old deserted buildings/homes/farms that could tell a few great stories. Good capture..
I too have a canon SX but the older SX50. Have a "black strap" shoulder harness and I'm set over having the weight of the larger canon and lens tracking through the fields and forests.
When we moved a few years ago into an apartment after selling the house, the landlord required 12 months of post dated cheques (canadian spelling). had to contact my bank and do a rush order of 50 cheques and they were costly. After the landlord used my first post dated cheque, they introduced the automatic withdrawal from residence account. Had to push hard to get my post dated cheques back as on month two, they took the money out of my account plus cashed the post dated cheque.
Very few uses for a cheque and that box of 38 still sits in a drawer. Do e-transfer and visa for online and debit for face to face purchases. Even our local farmer where we buy eggs and cheese prefers e-transfer for the purchases. After saying all this, I still have friends (over 80) where a book of cheques is a common in their pocket as is their wallet.
