These are some photos that were published in a book called Connecticut Military Heroes / Battle for Iwo Jima by Jeffery Dewitt. It's about the 100 men from Connecticut that perished in the battle. Jeff self published the book and it is available on Amazon. I told my wife it took 50 years to get published. It is definetly worth the wait.

On this 112th Anniversary of the war to end all wars. I wanted to take time to thank all of our veterans living and deceased for their sacrafice. It's because of these special people. We should never take for granted the freedom and liberty that these brave souls, fought and many gave their lives for. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
