As I understand it, the SIM card stores all your data such as contacts, pictures, et al. You can set your phone to store all data on your phone via the SIM card, or in the cloud. If you remove the SIM card from one phone with all the data and insert it into another phone, you should be able to access that data on the second phone but not the original phone since you removed the storage on the SIM card.

I’m not sure that’s a perfect answer.

Nothing in my life is perfect, so I'll give it a try.

Nice. I have a bunch of Mini/Micro adapters. I'll receive the two C chargers tomorrow, so I should be opkay. What's funny is when I go away this weekend, I have to make sure I have so many different chargers and cables.

For the case of disposable batteries like AA and AAA the batteries are made and sold by batttery manufacturers and they have nothing to do with the the devices that use them and thus standardize is bether for them as they can sell more batteries.
For the tools especially these tools are relatively cheap compared to the price of the batteries. So they Milwaukee wouldn't want you to buy Dewalt batteries to run their tools. Just like Canon wouldn't want you to use Epson ink. It's the batteries that they make money. And as far as the tools I see mostly the damage was the rubber cover came off under heavy use with greasy/oily hands but otherwise the tool last a long time. Not so with the batteries.
For the case of disposable batteries like AA and A... (show quote)

If DeWalt and Milwaukee used the same battery, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one brand and then another. Right now, there's no way I would buy anything from Milwaukee. Of course, there are adapters, but I'm sticking with DeWalt.

It wouldn't harm nothing for trying. By the way which phone company are you using?

I use TracFone. It's almost free. This phone was advertised as being unlocked, but it also associated with Verizon, so I don't know how that will work. I have two phones registered with TracFone, and I'd rather not register a third.

My only experience with the cordless in industrial settings. used Milwaukie & Dewalt. Both drivers & drills. The drills had the hammer option also & the Millwaukie last much longer under everyday industrial use which I doubt you need. Same for the impact guns.

Fortunately, I don't need the best tools that are available. I have mainly DeWalt and some Ryobi, and they're fine. I don't want to keep a supply of half a dozen brands of batteries. Manufacturers think they're being smart by having their own battery shapes, but I think standardizing would be smarter. Imagine if there were all different shapes of AA and AAA batteries. I have an adapter that lets me use one brand of battery on a different tool.

Herd of cows...
Certainly I've heard of cows...
No, no, a cow "herd"
A cow heard what? What do I care what a cow heard; I have no secrets from a cow...

Not only are there C-to-A adapters, there are A-to-C adapters. You need both. So you can charge your C devices with your A chargers and vice versa. They're easy to keep track of because you can stack them.

I ordered a pair of C/A chargers.

And I get a chance to place another order with Amazon.

The magnetic end attaches to the watch, and the C end connects to a charger.

I think so!

That's what I got from an online search - yes, probably, maybe, it depends. I'd rather not mess up a working phone.

If I remove the sim card from my current Samsung phone and put it into another Samsung phone, will I be able to use the second one as a phone, just like the original Samsung?

I received my new Galaxy S10 yesterday. My neighbor brought it over after FedEx delivered it to him. Using the watch, I was able to install the Samsung "Wearable" app, and I got the Galaxy Fit 3 watch set up. I was also able to install the two apps to get the Insta360 and DJI Pocket 2 cameras connected to the phone. Actually, it isn't a pone at this point, just a smart device. The charging cable for the watch has a USB C plug at the end that connects to the charger. I'll have to buy a couple of chargers like that. Otherwise, I have to charge the watch using the phone. Maybe there isa C-to-A adapter.

We will be out of touch for the next couple of weeks with travel to and from Hilton Head Island. I will not be staying in touch, but I hope to catch up when I return. I hope that the birds are plenty and the weather is good.

Therefore, if you do not hear from me starting tomorrow, it is not a snub.

Tell Admin, and he'll shut down the forum till you return. 😂

Have fun! It's nice to get away.
