Nice series. Red bellies are some of my favorite and they love feeders

Thanks, you're right it went from the feeder and back to the tree for about a minute and right back to the feeder. Really slings the seeds around till it gets the right stuff.

Very nice. Just the right amount of everything. I've taken a few like this but seemed to have to many leaves, but this seems to show everything well. Keep shootin'

I have a d90 with several lenses and have toyed with the idea of getting another body to cut down on lens changing, etc. I have a chance to pick up a used d40 body with battery and charger for 125.00. what do you thinkTI used to have one and it took good pictures.

Love my D40. Got two other Nikon bodies for the same reason. D40 seems to gather some sensor dust changing lenses. Takes great pics.

My wife and I took a ride down to Cape May today. Cape May is the southernmost point in New Jersey. It is a peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic on the east and the Delaware Bay on the west. My wife went shopping for yarn which gave me the opportunity to do some street photography.

Then we drove to the end of the land in New Jersey. There is a small beach here which is quite interesting. There is an old watch tower that was used in WWII to watch for submarines. There is also a wreck of a ship which is a reminder of an ill-fated project during the war to make liberty ships out of concrete. As you can see from the photo, the project was less than successful. They all broke up and sank. Under compression concrete is very strong. When you bend it or pull on it, however, it proved to be less than up to the task of making a good hull for a ship.

Fantastic shots. We have had a ton of toads this year which come out onto the roads when it rains. It is VERY hard not to run them over there are so many. Love your photos. Cheers.
