I've known Kerri a vary long time, been to my studio multiple times, hired her many times to do workshops back when the New York organization Meet Up was still a thing, and set up shoots for her at my studio. She has used my studio as a home base to work in and out of. I have never heard her refereed to as Gemma, but that is none of my business.

Still, there is this 'thing' on this site where in photographers have this thing about not identifying the model by their modeling handle. Some think my identifying one of my models as VADA or KNOX, but that is what name they go by. Of course I do work with models who are not just figure models, and they are not trying to 'hide', far from it. Still, it is the name they choose to use and so will respect that decision and follow their desires.

So with respect, Kerri Taylor is also Jemma, that is cool.

I somewhat understand not wanting to get taken in by someone passing off work that isn't theirs, but then again, I'm the one that has often stated it would be my preference that only those that had work to offer up for this section could participate here. That's obviously never going to happen.

It's beneficial on a photography forum to be able to ask a contributor questions about their submissions. That's completely negated if you're not talking to the actual photographer.

In one of the images in question there is a patch of red tinting that might happen if you took a color photo of a black and white image. When asked about the tinting the response didn't appear to make sense from an artistic standpoint. Maybe that is what prompted this thread.
