Polly. This may have been mentioned, but I read that putting dryer sheets under the bonnet of your car keeps rodents away. I immediately thought of you.

Thanks. I was told to put them in the glove box and I also put them in the back seat on floor. I read that they don’t like peppermint or lavender (going to plant some soon as it stops raining ) but eat daffodils. I may have to pay for pest removal. Want humane way of doing it Just a bus ticket to a park. 🤔

Ask someone from the city planners if you can get it removed.

That’s like shaking hands with an octopus. Somehow something will be around my neck.

Your browser would be Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari, whatever software you use to browse the internet. They all store lots of things for you to make browsing easier (mostly).

Thanks I’d like to not have to sign in every night

I'm hoping your arm is feeling better after the Tylenol.

Thank you The doctor squeezed me in today Thinks it’s bursitis. I thought bursitis was a joint issue mine is muscle. I lifted small boxes a few days ago and pushed the Heavy bag with my upper arm. Might be from that. The Tylenol has taken the sharp pain to less sharp. Doctor did ekg and heart is ok. Nurse told me that women might have pain on either arm when having heart attacks. Doctor gave me a gel to use on arm but I haven’t heard back from heart doctor to know if the aspirin in the gel is bad for me. I’m not to take aspirin . Pharmacy told me the gel is compatible with my other meds but I want to check with the doctor.

I got up off the couch and had a sharp pain in my right arm and lower right side of neck. My heart seems to be beating fine on the machine. I think I used my upper arm to push a heavy shopping bag on the couch’s arm. Tylenol helped. I wanted to call a friend for suggestions but it was late. Then my phone rang and it was her. She couldn’t sleep so called me knowing I’m up late. Has happened like this a few times.

Seems to me that he’s out to make you get used to her. Hahaha. How I wish I could cope with another dog. 🐶 I’d rather have one than a baby 👶..so, you are dog sitting 🪑 sounds a bit planned to me.. xxxx enjoy your new house mate.

I read a true story about a person who saved a dog and years later the dog saved that person’s life.

Hey Pam, careful about putting a dog on a long leash if it isn't supervised, they can get into trouble and the worse scenario is they can hang themselves. If you take her out on regular potty visits maybe you could contain her to your kitchen and she would be ok. Puppies are a lot of work, they get to problem dogs if you don't have the time for them! xoxox

It’s easier to get younger pups adopted so keeping the dog is making it older when looking to rehome it and therefor harder to get it adopted.

When I was a teenager I belonged to a group that did fight the federal government. And we were successful. Unfortunately the government can outlast any group and that is what they did. The federal government waited 25 years then went ahead with the project that we had stopped. No one from the group lived in the area anymore.

That ‘makes me mad.
They tore down our neighborhood for a road and never built the road. Many of the older people who were displaced died. I think they were upset losing the homes their relatives and friends had lived in for generations.

Unfortunately my wish that the economy would change to make it possible for me to retire, didn't happen. I keep hoping.

I keep telling myself that after the Great Depression there was the boom in the 50s. Just had to wait for it. I don’t feel retirement is all that great. I miss being with people and I’m getting closer to the serious aging illnesses. It is nice to not get up and go out every day and choosing what I want to do with my day. You will get your birthday wish.

Well I have had a rough week Dd had 2 seizures Monday afternoon and 1 about 5:30 am yesterday well I ended up spending 9 hours at the hospital (at her doctors request to have the epilepsy monitoring unit see her, they never did) well they did find she was a little dehydrated, but the er doc tried saying her symptoms sounded like any takers on guessing what he said, yea he tried to say it sounded like covid, I was furious because I saw her have the seizures, so did they try to figure out why no they did a ct scan to see if she had any damage to her head, she didn’t, oh not to mention this hospital was in Kentucky where I had to use my phone maps to get to well my phone died so I had to rely on my memory which was difficult because I had been awake for 36 hours, I couldn’t even lay down without getting a muscle cramp, I had to take 3 muscle relaxers over a 10 hour period to get them to stop.
Well I have had a rough week Dd had 2 seizures Mon... (show quote)

I can only imagine how you both felt but I can understand. Frustrating when they don’t listen. I hope you both feel better.

If the tree has lifted the sidewalk, it may be far enough on the city property for their workers to do something.

I avoid talking to anyone city connected. That old saying “you can’t fight city hall” so true.
