OMG!!! You sound more like dirt every day. Obviously you have been taking direction. Funny how Liberals when challenged always resort to common traits, I am a r****t or I have reading comprehension problems. That, even though I have excelled in reading comprehension since I was in the 5th grade and was reading and writing at a much higher grade level.

Always a pleasure,

Dennis

Another witty response! Ignorance is bliss for you! The only thing you aptly display is your 5th grade behavior. Your "excelling days" apparently ended with the 5th grade. What have you done as a Pub besides run your mouth! I'd be happy to match records of service for the party with you if you even have a record.

I don't see why this is an issue. Two people disagree on how to transact a sale. So don't.

I know on the woodworking forum I belong to it is common to send a personal check. Some sellers wait for the check while others ship as soon as you say check is in the mail.

The best was a $200 check of mine that didn't get cashed. I contacted the seller who told me he didn't want the money. He just wanted the item to go to somebody who wasn't just grabbing a freebie.

Sometimes having faith in our fellow man pays off. Sometimes it doesn't.

I'm looking for a guy that will do that with an 800mm Nikon lens.

Very nice! My first road car was a 48 Dodge with the windshield visor. Fluid drive 3 speed stick on the column. And wide white walls!

I only use paypal - it is bulletproof, and if the seller is lying about the condition or saleability, you have recourse. As a buyer, aside from the misrepresentations that can be made, there is always the issue of legality - how does a buyer know if the item was not stolen?

I will not buy from anyone who insists on any other form of payment - there are too many opportunities for fraud and deception on both sides. They are easy for a buyer to fake, and it is just as easy to receive a money order and not ship goods - and there is no recourse in either situation.

Also, the fee for Paypal isn't that much and either party can pay it. Works for me.

Oh, forgive me Dave, was it not you who suggested I had gone off on a political rant? I thought it was you wrote that. Was I mistaken. Tough guy??? Where is the tough guy part? I must have missed it. Maybe you should check in with dirt to see if it was you who missed it.

Dennis

LOL! You are quite the character! I thought you were your own man and didn't take direction. You need help reading and comprehending...again! Definitely a lost boy!

Hey DaveO, I think everyone except "papa" got it. His short fuse reminds me of a quote from some Shakespeare play: me thinketh thou dost protest to much or something like that. Good shooting to all......"papa" & "grandpa" included.

Don't let him discourage you. He is on the site doing basically nothing but buying and selling and disparaging people. I don't believe he has ever posted in the Photo Gallery. That's why I didn't bother continuing with him in the Main Photography Discussion portion of the forum. Very inappropriate. So many pics to take, so little time!

The fact is you can't face that it is what it is and that is an abject failure! Dave's having a Kool Aid party, you are invited.

LOL! Your extremist splinter group is dying and that's a fact. I'll bet that Kool-Aid is beginning to ferment some brains. Well, let's use you for an obvious example!

I lack the energy or desire to make myself and others disdain over my inability to analyze facts instead of blindly following any group displaying hatred and ignorance, politically or otherwise.

There, now you and Dave can go back to your Kool Aid party. BTW, what is you guy's favorite flavor? I'm conducting a psychological profile on you guys.

Totally agree. I mentioned Paypal to him but he has never used it, he says. Maybe he needs to get someone to set up a Paypal account and show him how to use it. I learned along time ago that you NEVER prepay by money order or any other instrument to a perfect stranger and some of my relatives are questionable also. Very risky! I really don't fault him for not agreeing to send me the item first. Just making the point that trust is a two way street. I did find where he had the same equipment for sale some time back but took it off the market. If I were a gambling man I would wager he would have a hard time selling anything with that money order string attached.

I guess I should have not responded for fear of upsetting some poor soul. I certainly meant no disrespect or implications that the OP selling the items was less than honest.

I in no way maligned anyone, but made a true statement that came out on a forum discussion. Your comment is brash, unnecessary and out of line.
