VERY..VERY nice!...The reflection is superb!
First...Great shot!...In Oregon, we have a starling epidemic...the birds have taken over..... NO more robins, black birds, waxwings, chick-a-Dees, Medow-larks...even yellow fenches.....ALL are very hard to find now. Starlings? EVERYWHERE! We had to install screens on every possible vent whole, put plastic spikes on ledges, and stop buying seed for song birds. But....there are PLENTY of starlings around here to photograph. Once again....GREAT shot!
WOW!....looks like a Nat-Geo moment.....Great job!
Look'n Great Bill.. I'll bet you ready for some spring pics...:>)
Thank you folks...I went to a nursery and just held the camera the best I could.
I few flowers I found today...hand held, no IS, 100MM Tokina, manual focus.....shaky hands...
I found another old railroad bridge...but this time...I found myself being watched as I took photos.
Thought I'd get out of the house...It's been raining all week...I used a 70-300mm on the bridge dates...a 100mm Tokina on the macro shots.
Welcome aboard! Give us your tired your poor ...your PICS! This forum loves to see something new...let someone know if you have trouble downloading photos. signed trainspotter.
WOW! Thank you Alan....Your explanation is superb. I feel confident in moving forward with my lens selections. (I am mostly constrained by cost per lens). I am a very good shopper on craigs list, and ebay. That is how I acquired the T2i and all the many accessories that came with it. The seller was "moving up to mirror-less." Once again Alan, thank you!!!
Thank you all. All the lenses I have at this point are newer and designed for the crop sensor. I'm going to hold off on the vintage experiment. My parents wanted my middle name to be Tangent....as I was always tripping off some weird direction. Thanks again. trainspotter
Opps...that was 12-28mm Tokina not 14.
