Not my insight, but I think I heard it in a Tim Keller sermon-pastor of a church in New York City. What a gorgeous picture of God's grace and He uses every color of the rainbow to make it.

Nice pic!!!! Note the bow(archer's bow) is facing the the heavens. The (rain)bow being a sign of the covenant, not merely a beauty for photographers' eyes. If God were to break his promise to guard the earth from such as a deluge as it experienced in the flood, the curse falls(is aimed at)Him. What a great picture! And He really did take the curse! What grace!!!

I think it is a 1939 Case C. Belongs to my wife's dad who's father began selling Case tractors in 1947. The new employees enjoyed cranking the engine. Here are two others of his collection, a VAC and his 400.

Though the blossoms look similar, yours is a night blooming cereus I think. I'm not sure what kind mine is and would be interested to know if anyone out there knows. My mom had a night blooming cereus but due to our northern conditions it rarely bloomed.

Thanks so much! I had to cut the top of the cactus to bring it in last fall and rooted it, so now I have two. The mother plant probably weighs 150 pounds and is becoming increasingly difficult to move in and out of the house. The D3200 my wife gave me for Christmas really is doing nice work.

Missed the nocturnal display of this cactus flower last night but caught it this morning just before its demise.
No fragrance at all, just sheer beauty.
After many years of blossoms we still get excited about this beauty.

My wife ordered mine for a Christmas present, nikon mount, and it didn't come till May. But again, I don't you'll be disappointed.

Thanks! Glad to be of help! I recently took some pics of some flowers with the lens about 30 feet away and began to crop them only to discover a large carpenter ant in the middle of the flowers that I had not seen before.

I could send you some pics but I'm not really sure that I want to repost them. If you go back and look for the pics I took of the green heron at over a week ago. Not sure myself how to locate it on this forum. If you can't find them, I could send them via email. You'll enjoy the lens I'm sure!
