probably so but it would be serviced. I wished all equipment bought no matter where would have a global warranty. There are certain situations, But why cant I pay double for the same camera in LONDON with proof I was there and purchased said camera, and not get an USA warranty? Does the flight affect the camera? Camera will work the same there as US...It's goofy and it sucks. It doesn't speak the Queens English..!! LOL I have purchased stuff overseas and in most part it does have a very limited warranty....except camera body's. As long as it's LEGIT there, it should be LEGIT here and everywhere for that matter...
if I'm not making sense I'm tired and I apologize

I guess the pro version of EOS-R isn't going to blot out the sun at the Olympics in Japan next summer.

HAHAhahaha … You are a master my friend. I knew Canon would pull a trick or three in the 1DX series.. They did..!! I was hoping it would be in the 5 series also.. hopefully!

Last I heard, be it Nikon, Canon, Fuji....whatever. If I go to a different country and buy a camera, from a LEGIT dealer and keep my receipt and inform them (that would be the registration) and you might have to explain your situation. They will honor in the US for one year. After that it's on you. In Latvia where my wife is from it would be WAY more expensive to buy there anyway unless it was an emergency...so why...????? Cameras always go in carry on

Good photo printers and not cheap but not expensive either. If you want prints it sure does save frustration and you do learn a lot about getting what you see.
However there is one downfall. You quickly run out of wall space and fill your closets.

No they are not and I agree. I went from an Epson 2200 9 ink printer that failed a few years back . That brand new, was 799.00 plus tax. That printer was awesome but expensive to feed and ink got harder to find over time. Last year I bought the Epson Expression XP 15000 on Amazon for 250 roughly. Great printer. I'm not a professional by any means, but I like an accurate print, and I have that, provided you have the right print work flow. And YES, I have wall space, just can't afford the frames..!!! LOLOL

Agreed.

However most folks who buy a new DSLR have never learned the basics of photography and end up fishing through menus searching for the ‘PERFECT PICTURE’ setting.

Hahahahahaa….well said...!!! NO, WAIT WHAT.!!! There's an APP for that? SERIOSLY..!

Going to make this quick. I print my own photos and learned A LOT about color management. Step one - You have to calibrate your monitor. there are several ways to do that, look it up. Second, to keep things simple, use sRGB color space in post. I use both sRGB and Adobe RGB but my monitor isn't top notch Adobe RGB but I've learned to compensate for my setup. All that means is just a wider color gamut. I've done prints of both and it is hard to tell the difference. A slight better color contrast in Adobe RGB. Anyway - After you calibrate the monitor and everything is looking fine, you are sending those photos out for print. What format do THEY use? You need to know that, and also after you have downloaded your photos to Their color management setup, hopefully somewhere around where you have downloaded to, there should be an option for " no color management " Select it! You have already done that on your system! The other factor that will change the print is the paper. Is it glossy, matte, luster..? You will need to know that also because the ink gamut will change also. If you can get an ICC print profile for the paper they use or the paper you want. Get it, even if you don't print! Then you can soft proof your photos with their ICC paper print profile in post and you should get a predictable result...! Hope not to confusing and good luck..!

BTW - My prints look as they did on the monitor and look fantastic! Just expensive! I think printer ink is the most expensive liquid on the planet besides melted gold...LOLOLOL..
